The NIGH****CHMAN - Monday 11/23

Good evening one and all.  It is a wonderful day in the neighborhood.  Well, almost.  At least I only have 3 more nights of work before vacation.  Turkey day will be my last NW before my vacation.  I will have no computer access while I am gone.  I dread checking my emails when I return.

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  & SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

Upcoming Surgeries/current hospitalization:

Tara is scheduled for a revision surgery on 12/3/09.

Gina L. - brother Jerry diagnosed with lung disease and is pending more tests. 

Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house. They have made the move to the metroplex but still need to sell their house.

Jeris asks for prayer as she is a single mom to a 4 year old and is in the working world.

July is going through a divorce, requesting prayers for her and her kiddos.  We know a divorce is tough, and can be especially tough financially.


Karen the Papaya Queen asks we pray for her son and his GF and their kids.  They went to court 10/29 to try and get them back from CPS and it's been a real struggle.

Kat (Iwannabethinnow) has a friend with breast cancer.

Lynne asks for prayer for Miranda as well as her son who was hospitalized.

Meggie's mother has breast cancer.  She has a large hematoma under it. Her lumpectomy will be on Wed,  11/11. It is stage 1 cancer and they do not believe it has spread yet and don't think they will need to remove any lymph nodes! Radiation therapy will start in 6 weeks everyday for 6-8 weeks! 
 
Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers.  Her polyps have been diagnosed as "abnormal" but not cancerous.  More tests forthcoming.

Vivian requests prayers for the extra stress in her life.  Also, she has pending procedures for her abdominal pain.

Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers.  This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there.  Remember them too.

Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2.

 Night George.....I have a surgery date for my gall bladder removal.   It is Dec. 7th my middle son's birthday !!!   I will find out the time tomorrow at my pre op visit.    It will be done outpatient at Wise Regional Hospital in Decatur.    I have never been there before but with my handy GPS I can find anything !!!   LOL   I will be SO glad to get that gallbladder out !!!!

Good Evening!

My neice is here.  She arrived at 2:45 this morning and her name is Taylor Paige.  I am excited but I think it will hit me more when and if I am able to see come Christmas time.  Not sure if she will make it back to Western Kansas at Christmas time now.  She is NICU right now.  She had fluid in her lungs and developed an infection so they are keeping her for up to 10 days right now.  My sister called and said she had an infection this morning and they were keeping her for 48 hours in NICU but when I called later, it had gotten worse.  This afternoon, they said she looked better then she did this morning but would be keeping her in NICU for 10 days. 

2 more days of work then smooth selling for a few days.  We are going to just stay at home and go to the movies.  Nothing major planned at all.

Hey George...
Just jumping in for a second...need to get some sleep.  Had to do a couple loads of wash and they just finished.  Sarah has her class "fall" party tomorrow.  I'm the room mom (no one else would do it....grrr) so I will be up at the school by 2:00 with the party starting at 2:30.  Guess they wanted to do this before Thanksgiving as they always have to be so ridiculously "PC" if a party is done in December.  The last couple have been in December...no Santas, no reindeers (they relate to Santa), no stockings (same reason as the reindeer), of course no crosses (rolling my eyes), so that pretty much leaves snowmen and snowflakes.  The poor kids are the ones who suffer when they get this petty, although it would have been a parent that was petty to begin with to complain about it in the first place!  At any rate, the two older girls will just get off the bus near the elementary school and come help me.  They love to drop into the elementary school now that they are in high school!!!

Ok, enough for me...nighty-night!!!
