Go on holiday all the way around and pleasantly surprise yourself.
NO SCALE!!!  Really, how much could you gain because SERIOUSLY, how much can you really eat????  You'll be fine!

RNY on 08/19/04 with
Danni, please.  Leave the scale at home and do NOT buy one for your sister's house.  Relax.  Three days without a scale will do you some good.  Trust this ex scale ho.

I have gone from weighing myself several times a day to once every few weeks or so.  And, guess what???  My weight is stable.

I vote for leaving it at home and not buying one for your sister's house.  And I weigh every morning so I qualify as a scale ho.

I don't take one with me to Arkansas and we go for a week at a time.  I don't miss it since I am out of my routine.

Jump on it when you get back and if you have gained a few then do what you know you have to do to get it back off right away!  But in the meantime - ENJOY your vacation.  You will NOT gain 22 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks girl !!!

I used to weigh every single morning. Since I moved in June, I think I may have weighed twice.

I refuse to be ruled by my scale. That's what my cat is for!

If you are flying buy one or use Debbi's when you get here .....it would probably cost you more to check one at the airport than to buy one.    I am a big scale ho and I weight several times aday also.   I have not having a scale nearby !!!

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

I told you my answer, but I'll put it here too.  I understand the why behind weighing for you, but I would say leave your scale at home.  Primarily because you don't want to mess up the scale with being tossed around with your luggage at the airport.  If you really need to weigh, pick up one of the cheap ones in WA, but remember that it may not be calibrated the same as yours so don't take that weight as your "real" weight.

When I came to your house, your scale weighed 6lbs heavier than mine, but I expected to see a different weight and just used that as an idea for how I was doing over all.  If you can go without weighing then do, but don't create stress by not weighing if it's really going to bother you.

Love ya!

Debbi
