What Are You Thankful For?

I am thankful for a crazy, but loving family, a wonderful Chihuahua son who loves me unconditionally and does not ask for much, a roof over my head, food on my table, a steady check even though I do not work, a vehicle that works well and is paid for, medical and life insurance, loving friends who treat me like family, ability to see through people and give them what they need by uplifting them and giving them other options to negative obstacles in life, and most importantly I am grateful that my last suicide attempt in 12/28/06 failed.

My ex boyfriend saved my life and I will always be grateful to him for that.

Even though things then felt extremely bad and was caving in all around me I have had much worse days since then and am alive to experience them and change them to my liking.

I would be hella mad if I was not alive to realize all of the greatness that life has to offer if I would have succeeded.

I also would have missed out on seeing my nephews get older and live their lives.

Those are the things that I have to be thankful for.

I am thankful for LIFE, LOVE and in general HAPPINESS!

I know it sounds silly, but that's really how I feel today and thank GOD everyday for the blessings in my world.   My husband is the best and I had posted something beautiful about him the other day before that post was corrupted by another TMB'r and had to be pulled.

There are too many many negative people in the world.

Where to start?  I have so many things to be thankful for, we all do.  I know sometimes we get down on ourselves and think why me.

I'm thankful for:

A Wonderful Hubby that loves me UNCONDITIONALLY

Two very active boys that tell me all the time they love me, just because.

My family that is very close nit all the time.

That I can forgive and forget and not harbor anger.

A job that pays well, a paid off SUV, a beautiful home, heat, A/C, water, food, clothes on my back.

For my God that is all-loving, all-careful, all-forgiving.

For WLS that has given me more opportunities than I ever imagined and my OH family that I gained because of WLS.

I am forever thankful for "life"...

Its a little hard to be thankful for the hubby right now, he is on my nerves....but I love him...

I'm thankful that my 21 y/o son is half way through his Corrections Officer training....he choose to take the hard rebellious way of growing up, so this is a major milestone in his life...as well as mine...he graduates about a week after my surgery and I would have loved to see his ceremony...as i never got to watch him graduate...but I'm so proud of him....

I'm thankful that my 9 7/8 y/o he is almost 10 and that 7/8 means something at this age...is healthy, he was born premature due to my appendix rupturing....he is severely dyslexic...but he is able to maintain a "low b" average...Physically he is perfect, just as God intended...

And now on to the 6 y/o son, he was a pleasant surprise, everyone at church told me he would be a blessing to me.....somedays I ask him.....wheres my blessing.....lol, hes all boy and will never let you forget that hes the baby....he works it.....but I'm thankful for him all the same.

I'm so thankful for the wonderful OH family I am gathering.....I cant wait to meet all of you wonderful people in real life....

Where to start...

First of all... I am thankful for my God.  Man... where would I be without him... Oh yeah... I wouldn't be.
I am thankful for you.  You have been a great friend.  I know that I can count on you.
I am thankful for my husband.  He has been my backbone through my illness.
I am thankful for my parents... man... talk about unconditional love.
I am thankful for my five kids/stepkids.
I am thankful that God has given me a job that I can count on.
I am thankful that I have a place to live.
I am thankful for all of my OH family.
I am thankful that I have two cars that are paid off.
I am thankful that I have in-laws that care about me.
