Wow...Thanksgiving is almost here...some of us are already on holiday break, some are still working, some of us will be off soon.  Let's make good food decisions regardless.

Today's plan for me:
lots of liquids
protein coffee...already downed
Beef Enchilada soup for lunch
pnut butter protein pudding for snack
dinner...maybe ham/cheese impossible pie or some other leftovers

What's your plan?

Karla

Hey Karla & NBN Crew!

My plan is to attempt to maintain where I am during this thanksgiving holiday.  A loss would be great but I will enjoy myself and I will NOT go crazy this time.  I don't have a plan for today and I already know not having a plan is planning to fail.  I really don't feel well but I hope to get over it before Thursday.

Morning Karla and crew...

My plan for today is to keep that "5" that i'm finally seeing again on the scale.  It's barely there, so maintaining it will be a challenge with all the good food this week.

B- eggs and cheese
L- turkey and cheese on LC pita bread
Sks - honey crisp apple
D- more picken on the chicken.  It goes a long way when I am the only one eating it.

MORE water than I'm getting.

Lost another pound overnight, yea!!!  No, really it just goes to show it was water weight... LOVE being a female some weeks!!!!

Anyhoo ~  Today's plan is looking good!

B-Oatmeal
S-1 cup Cherrios (still working to increase my iron levels)
L-homemade chili mac w/veggies
S-Apple
D-Dunno yet... Probably leftover smoked turkey from Sunday with salad

Good luck all!

Lisa it sounds odd but really does work - simmer tomatoe based dishes - spagettie sauce, chilie etc in cast iron - it will help up it some plus I find I like the yaste better

Thanks Danni - in a weird sort of way, that makes sense.   I've been trying to take an iron supplement, but they make me sick and not in a good way.  So, I'm not sure what to do.  Not at dangerous levels, but trying my best to beef up levels before it becomes a problem.

I have a great cast iron skillet at home and making spaghetti sounds good, so I'll give that a try this weekend.   Appreciate the tip!

that is when I learned to make dirty rice also-the liver is high in iron but I only buy organifc liver - cooking anything in the cast iron helps esp if it will sit and simmer for a while - but tomatoes leach the iron best from what I have heard plus they have vit c which helps you absorb it better

Ready for another day everyone?  I've got my plan for the day with some wiggle room in case I need a little more:

Protein Coffee
Egg beaters w/ salmon, mushrooms, red pepper and cheese
Chicken egg rolls & veggies
Cottage cheese w/ salsa
Turkey pastrami & cheese roll ups
Turkey meatloaf & corn
Apple

I'm still toying around between 254-255.5 which is totally annoying, but it is what it is.  I've planned out some dishes for Thanksgiving, and luckily my MIL eats low carb so most of the stuff she fixes fit well with my plan.

Yesterday was Blah.  It started off excellent, last night was.....not......good.

I'm ready to get back on a schedule because I work better that way.  Today I'll focus on my vitamins and water.  Since I'm just finding things to eat (no cooking) I'll throw in a shake or two when the urge to snack attacks me.....mainly late at night.

Good morning!!!  Well my mom and I decided we weren't going to go overboard with the food on Thursday... other then some leftover turkey we shouldn't have a lot left over.  I'm going to the gym that morning for a 2 hour workout class then home to help mom finish cooking.  I will taste everything but that will be about it.  At least that's the plan for Thursday... sticking to it is another thing!

Yesterday was a good day!  Stuck to plan with the exception of the skinny cow ice cream sandwich I had!  Today will be a busy one running errands most of the day...

B: Believe RTD
S: Inspire Ice Cream Sandwich
L: Wendy's Chili
S: Brown Cow Greek Yogurt
D: going to Cheddars and splitting a meal with mom while hubby and the kids are at the theatre
