Good Morning to my TMB Family,

Happy Thankful Tuesday!  It is raining here Dover but supposed to clear up later on.  I sure hope so.  Getting really tired of rain.  My Mom and Dad arrived around 5 yesterday afternoon.  It was so great to see them and I am looking forward to a full week of doing nothing but visiting, and cooking.  I love being able to do things for them.  Last night we had my Mexican meatloaf and it was so good.  Mom and I are going to venture out later to the grocery store and then come and get baking.  I am going to make my pumkin pies, one regular and one sf.  I am so glad to hear that Richard is doing a little better.  Thank you to those that have been posting.  Hope to hear really good news today.   I am so thankful these days for all that surrounds me.  God has truly blessed me.  Big prayers this morning for Gina's Richard, Jenny and Eric, Dana, and Viv.  I know there are a lot of unspoken prayers but know I pray for all you every day.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys

WOOOOHOOOO for Tuesday!  I'm up and at 'em and sorta going strong.... LOL  Some COFFEE in a minute should fix me right up..... LOL  I'm so ready for turkey day and some down time with my family.....

Prayers are going up for all that need them, especially Richard, Eric and Viv, all of who are weighing heavy on my mind this morning.....

GOOD MORNING! I was so tired yesterday that I napped at 6pm for a while, and then finally went to sleep at 10 but had one of those awful cyclical dreams where you want to wake up but you can't so I tossed and turned and finally woke at 11. I went back to sleep after that and slept all night so hopefully today will be a less sleepy day.
Thanks to everyone keeping us updated on Richard. Prayers continue for him.
One more day of driving to work- tomorrow I get to work from home. I'm SO going to miss that once the pilot project is done in a few weeks. I just hope they decide its worth it and allow people to start doing it for good. I get alot done that one day a week that I get to work from home. Plus I get laundry done while working-which is really cool!
We USED to get a call from the governor around 10am saying that state employees can go home at noon the day before Thanksgiving, but that hasn't happened in years. I doubt it will tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a fantastic day today. Michelle-glad your folks are there-how fun! Hope the weather clears up. Gaye-how are you feeling? Danni- I didn't even know you could can turkey. Good luck on the trip with the battle of the scale. Bryan is making roast today so we'll have a great dinner tonight! Woo hoo!

Hey Allyssa, I'll see James on Thursday and see if he wants the furniture.  I haven't forgotten ya!!

Waking up tired lately.  Wonder what's going on?  I'm getting my vitamins and iron every day.  Could just be the stress at work.  We got to work the PARS area yesterday, but inbetween relieving the guard shack and security in the front!  Can you believe it?  We have Postal Police but they don't work here.  We have Injured on Duty employees as security at this place!  What a crock!

Anyway, got to go take a shower and get ready for work.  Ya'll have a great day!  Love ya!

I'm just tired today, couldn't go to sleep until 11 last night (YUCK) -- was up at 4:30, and it's going to be a long day!  So I can be positive about this or really negative, guess which I decided??   Not exactly (gotta work) but it's all in the attitude....and I just kinda decided that I didn't want to be an ole Grump today?

I hope that everyone is getting ready to wind down the week (today is a pseudo-humpday)...I know I am.  I have lots to do before I can call the week done, but have no fear that it'll happen. 

Prayers for Richard and Gina (I know they had a long night) and for anyone else who just needs a little extra boost right now. Thanks to those who updated us throughout the evening. You are soooo appreciated!

Good morning TMB!

We have the kids for the rest of this week.  It will be a great time!  We have plans to do a whole lot of nothing except eating and visiting on Thanksgiving.  I am not a Black Friday shopper so we may do something fun like the zoo or aquarium on Friday.  Who knows.

*sigh* I'm glad I'm sleeping through the night now but its messing with my 'morning computer time'.  I have to get ready for work already.  Have a great day all.

Good morning.  Prayers for Gina and Richard as they go through his testing at the hospital.  I hope they find nothing wrong but dehydration with him.

6 more folders to work on today at work.  I got 6 done and turned in yesterday.  I have to make a run this morning to the hs.  I need to turn in some work for my homebound student and get my camera out of my nieces car.  It's been in there for a week and a half now.  I want it for Thanksgiving.

Baking and packing when I get home after work.  Ross comes home after work today.  We're leaving in the morning for Aggieland for a few days.  Whoop!

Prayers for all others who need them.

Viv...the gall bladder surgery is a piece of cake.  A few days down and you'll be good as new.  I had mine out on a Monday and was at work Thursday.  You'll just be tired and sore for a week or so.

Morning everyone,

Actually have some time to post this morning.  Didn't do any prepping for today before bed, but was up extra early.  Emm and I both were in bed before 10.  She was pretty upset about her buddy Richard, Gina's Dh,.  They are fast friends and she just hates to hear news like that.  She also needed the sleep I"m sure.

Today is my last day of my 7:30 to 4pm shift.  Next week I'm sure I will head in early just to be as acclaimated as possible for the software change that is 'go live' on Monday.  They are trying so hard to get us excited and i'm honestly trying as well.. but it's basically a C.F.   I have to find something else after the new year and when all the condo moving (hopefully) is done.

My child is very 15 and letting me know. Just another challenge, but I guess I can handle it. Thankfully I can't take it out in food anymore, or I'd be 600 pounds by now.

Prayers for our TMB spouses - Richard and Eric.  They are in deep need of God's healing hands and we warriors need to hop into full prayers mode.  Healing prayers for all others including Gaye, and Vivian and all those unmentioned.

Good Morning!  It took me a while to go to sleep last night, my thoughts were on Gina and Richard.  I didn't want to text her and bother them to get an update.  So after tossing and turning I decided to check the board again, thank you GAYE for posting.  After that update I took a Lunesta to sleep and I feel better today.

I went for my followup with my OB/GYN yesterday and got good news.  The pathology didn't find anything serious wrong just what we expected.  I kinda, sorta giggled when they told me because all the way back to 1991 my old doc told me he suspect adneomyosis and the only way to know for sure is a hysterectomy which at that age I just was not wanting to do, I wasn't even a mama yet.  So the healing continues, it's just a matter of getting over the exhaustion.  Hooray!

Prayers for all my peeps special prayers for Gina and Richard, Jenni and Eric, Vivian (gallbladder surgery) and all our newbies preparing for surgery.

I have a reprieve with cooking this year, we are going to my MILs for Turkey Day, my parents are out of town.  The menu sounds yummy but they have NO pumpkin pie, which is a sin, lol; Turkey Day MUST have pumpkin pie.  I'm going to make Lynne's pumpkin pudding in a pie.  It sounds so yummy and easy.

I'm working from home today, our IT fixed it so I can log in to my work computer and I don't want to be swamped when I go back to work.  Just a little bit of work at a time and then I'll rest.  Hmmmm, wish I could CONVINCE them I can work from home a couple days a week all the time.
