Countdown begins....

I forgot to mention:  I did not have to deal with drains at all for the BL.  They were put in during surgery but removed in the hospital the next morning.

My surgeon told me I did not have to do anything in particular with the girls in the post-op period.  Normal showers were no problem.  I did not have to wear a special bra, or any bra at all if I didn't want to.  He did say I should avoid underwires for six months or so until all the scars go down.  That is no problem ... with B's (perky ones at that) no underwires are necessary.  Love that.

Oh...that sound so exciting! I'm wishing you all the luck in the world and hope you get the results you're looking for. And I'm praying for an easy surgery and fast, less painful recovery.

 Paige....you might want to rent a lift chair.    That WOULD have helped out alot had I rented one.    It is extremely hard to get comfortable sleeping after a LBL.   I slept in my recliner and it nearly killed me pulling on the handle to get out of the chair.   I know many people who did rent a lift chair and was really happy that they did.    I hope you won't swell much.   I was swollen off and on for the first entire year.

I am so happy for you.  Jealous that you get to have yours first with the surgeon I found first LOL but happy just the same!!! Wish we could have done them together like was orignially planned......you are getting your surgery for my birthday LOL but if I had taken that time off right now work would not be happy with the boss already out!  Just hope I still want mine in May after seeing you go through it.  ha ha
