Two weeks from today I will be having round 2 of my PS... (BL/LBL/butt aug)  I went today to get fitted for my compression garments and pay my balance... phew expensive day!!!  Then tomorrow I go to the hospital for my preop and to settle the bill with them as well.  I am starting to get a bit nervous.   He told me today he would give me several compression garments and that I would have 6 drains probably for at least a week and a half.  He also said that most of swelling would me around the areas he is doing lippo for my booty!

For those of you have that have been through any of these procedures what can and I expect and do you have any suggestions that will make recovery easier???

Paige, I had BL with augmentation and the anchor cut TT along with the brachioplasty.  The most pain I experienced for the procedures was the BL but it was due to the implants not the incisions.  Your nerves will be cut and numb for a while; the tightness is a bit uncomfortable though.

I really did not swell much from any of mine, my doc was impressed with how little I swole.  I'm so excited for you, I so wish I had the funds available to do my backside and thighs; one of these days hopefully, if not I still look so much better than I did at 260 lbs!

Edited to add:  I didn't do this but I heard others say that frozen peas work great for the swelling, just refreeze and use them again and again.

Thanks Dana!  I'm not going to do implants right now... If I decide after the lift that I need them then I will do that when I do my arms and thighs.

I'll remember to stock on frozen peas!!!!

Paige, if I was doing it again I would NOT get implants.  I believe I would of had enough on top without them, even though 2 of the 3 docs I consulted to me I'd be an A.  I have small implants in relation to size and I'm a DD.  I still can't find really cute little bras like I always dreamed about.

I always hated my large breasts!!!!  So I'm actually looking forward to being able to wear something cute.... he felt I would be okay without them but we will see.

That is what Norma used.  They conform to where you place them.  Like a bean bag.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

I had a breast lift three weeks ago.  I've had very little pain at all with that.  I had a face lift at the same time to get rid of all the loose neck skin I developed after the weight loss; the face lift caused much more discomfort than the breast lift.

I asked my surgeon to keep what God gave me on the right side (which was a little smaller than the left) and reduce the size of the left to match the right.  OMG.  With the loose skin gone and the excess breast tissue gone on the left, I went from C's that pointed to the floor to B's that look like an 18-year-old's.  I am THRILLED.  I always wanted to be a B so that clothes would fit better.  And they do.

I am really excited for you and hope you'll tell us how the butt aug goes.  I've become the Buttless Wonder after losing 111 lbs.  Best of luck.

Thanks Lorelei...  I had a neck/face/brow lift back in July and it was hard indeed!!!  I'm hoping the butt augmentation goes well.... I never had much junk in the trunk and losing 140lbs hasn't helped.  It would just be nice to fill out the seat of my pants for once!
