Hey Deb,
Have you ever heard of renting textbooks?? I found this a couple of semester's ago. I just rented 3 books for my Winter Qtr. for $54 plus S&H! Saved me nearly $200! They are new books and they even send you the box and postage to ship them back!! I love it and they also plant a tree for every book you rent from them!!! www.chegg.com I highly recommend it!!

hugz,
Gina

Monday, November 23, 2009, and I get to request my first unemployment benefit payment today!  Yeah - oh wait, the weekly benefit is about what I was making in 3 days - but better than a sharp stick in the eye.

Apparently Mr. King wasn't ready to get up when the alarm went off and proceed to hit the snooze button from 5:30 until 6:45.  I got up at 5:30 because I couldn't get still after the first time the alarm went off.

Was a busy day yesterday.  Located the deceased squirrel in the attic and that was a joy removing it!  We used the old Vick's under the nose trick (think Silence of the Lambs and Clarice!) to even be able to get up in the attic (which was a first for me and never would I have attempted it 150 lbs ago! NSV!!)  I feel sorry for my environmental engineer (aka trash man) today, not only is the well concealed deceased in the trash, but I cleaned out the refrigerator and freezer yesterday.  It's amazing what you find crammed in the back of the freezer.  Expiration date 2005.  Really?  Guess I never got in the mood for that frozen whatever.

Still in the debate over hunting Thursday/Friday or going to my mother's house on Thursday, then to Brownwood to hunt only Friday.  I'm not winning the argument of skipping it altogether.  I'd like to go to my mother's, but she's famous for that mid-afternoon meal, that would put us getting to Brownwood about 10pm.  Just so totally doesn't seem worth it to me since we HAVE to come home Friday.  We are planning on leaving about 10am Saturday to head to Galveston for our Sunday departure for 7 days of R & R.

I've been so focused on King's wardrobe that I haven't even thought about my casual clothes for the trip.  Last time I bought capri's was about 20 lbs ago.  I may be in a mad dash to all the thrift stores in search of stuff for myself or I'll be wearing business clothes on the cruise!  LOL

Going to get on with the day, it's slipping away and I gots things to get done!

Good morning family!!! What a wonderful weekend!! Did absolutely nothing other than go to the grocery store to finish up stuff for Thanksgiving meal! I felt kinda cruddy and had a bad case of the grouchy butt yesterday when I got up. Not sure why, just felt outta whack and felt bad. Bill actually sent me back to bed, which made me mad, but I got over it!!  I do have an appt. with Gyno on Dec. 3rd to check on hormones or lack there of!!! I think I may put myself back on Lexapro too, but I will ask her before doing that.

All of my grandbabies are here this week! Gonna have my daughter take several pictures of us with all of them! Last picture we had was pre-surgery when we only had one grandson and a step grandson. Both of us were almost too big for the kids to fit in the picture!!!!

Not much planned for this short week, other than try to finish up as much as possible here at work. I bet we get early release on Wed., can't plan for it, but they usually let us go around noon prior to a holiday.

Prayers and hugz for all those that need them!! Love and miss you guys soooo much!!!!

Hugz,
Gina L  (AKA Gina Gayle #2)

We were grouchy butt sisters, lol.  Hormones are the debil, lol.  I had to get back on something for the depression also, Cymbalta is working well.  I took Lexapro preop but my PCP said it's known to cause weight gain more often than Cymbalta, just an FYI.

I had taken the Lexapro for about 5 years or more, I just felt like I got to a point it wasn't doing anything. I didn't notice weight gain as a post-op though. Bill saw an ad for a female version of Extenze on TV and he was ll excited!! LOL I have very low sex drive and plus, I feel the moodiness and hot flashes creeping in. I haven't done HRT in about 4 years now.  Was initially on Estratest (grew too much hair in places I didn't need too) and then Premarin (gained too much weight period!). I am willing to find something to help my libido, just gottta find the right thing!!

Gina

Do you have trouble sleeping? One of the side effects I ahd from it was a tremendous sex drive!!

I have lots of trouble sleeping! Not going to sleep, just staying that way! I will wake up in the middle of the night, lay there for hours wide awake and then doze off shortly before the alarm goes off. Seroquel helps that some, but I can't take more than 25 mg or I will not wake up for days! It sure didn't effect me that way, but i still think my low libido is because f my total hysterectomy more than anything else!

GOOD MORNING EO! I had a really horrible experience that turned out good THANK YOU JESUS! Saturday afternoon, I started feeling bad, I had eaten a late breakfast and taken my meds later than usual(1 o'clock) I started feeling nausea and having some diarrhea, feeling dizzy and tired. It was about 8 PM when I took my evening meds. Then at about 10 pm  I was on the PC. I really started having stomach cramps and feeling really strange like I was going to pass out. I hollered at DH and the next thing I know I am lying on the floor with no control over my bodily functions-I mean I never knew there could be so much **** coming out of me!! My DH was hovering over me saying your lips are blue. I was laboring to breath and to be honest, I thought I was dying! I floated in again and he said I call 9-1-1 and I am like "good". Anyway, my BP was so low they had to get it up before they could transport me. They checked out my heart and all that was good. They kept me overnight and the conclusion was that since I have been getting so healthy and working out at the gym, I am on too much BP medicine and probably won't have to have any any more so IT IS ALL GOOD NEWS! But WOW what a way to find out!~

Anyways, I hope every bodies Monday is not Manic and that you all have a wonderful pre-TG week! Love to all!~Annette

If we don’t put our efforts into creating what we want, then we have to put our efforts into coping with what we get!

Annette, glad you are feeling better.  Sorry you had that experience, I'm sure it was scary.  No more BP meds is a PLUS!
