WOW, Mari and a lot of the rest of you!  You guys did really well this week.

Me too, I am happy to report.

Highest/surgery:  263

Last week:  155

Today:  152

Loss for the week:  -3

Total loss:  -111

This leaves only two pounds to go before I meet my goal of 150.

Before my RNY, when my surgeon asked me what my goal was, I had no idea.  So I took the lowest weight I could imagine for myself, subtracted 50 pounds from that number, and told him 150.  I seriously doubted I could ever get that skinny, RNY or no RNY.

Now I think that, after I achieve my goal, I will set a new one.  At 145 I will have a "normal" BMI for my height.  Maybe I can get there by my first surgiversary.

Yes Ma'am - US guys have kicked butt this week, and I didn't even take names, did you???  heehee!!  I am sooooooo proud of each and everyone of us who are putting ourselves out there and being accountable for our own journeys.  Each week when I come to this part of the day, when I look back and read what each person has written, it justifies my decision (even moreso) to have started this journey. I know that I have done it, and so have each and everyone of the rest of you!  I am so proud of our accomplishments (weekly and ultimately) and to be a part of this chosen family of mine!!!

Hugs and Happy Turkey day!!

You are at a point where you typically see a slow down, I did and I've talked to many others who did too.  This is where it starts getting a little harder, it comes off a little slower, but as long as it keeps going where you want it to...THAT'S what counts. Hang in there, Hunny!! Just think, a year ago, you weren't even sure that you were going to live to see this birthday or the next one or the one after that! Now look at the future ahead of you!  It's an amazing thing!!

I've been losing slow for the last month. I don't think it's a stall because I AM losing and I've been losing inches. Even though I'm not a scale Ho it's frustrating to see it moving so slow. But I AM thankful for my progress so far! My NUT has me increasing my calories so we'll se if that works.

My regular weigh in day is Tuesday so these numbers will be a week behind....

Highest Weight: 352
Surgery weight: 292
Weight last week: 256.8
Today's weight: 256
Weight Gain/Loss for the week: .8lbs
Weight loss since surgery: 36
Total weight loss: 97lbs

We all did that at some point a couple of months out, I think...  Increasing your caloric intake actually works, so keep after it girlie and don't let yourself get discouraged.  Especially if you are losing inches...ya gotta give your body time to catch up with the weight loss.  Be patient!  I know it's hard, but you know from meeting all of us that it DOES work!  Hang in there and I can't wait to see what you are saying in the next month or so...AFTER you get past the holidays, which are really hard!  I won't lie to you, it is, BUT you can do it!!!!!  Look how far you have come!!!

Good afternoon everyone!!  I hope everyone has a fabulous Thanksgiving.  I have never really liked Thanksgiving-type food, so I know I will be just fine as far as the scale goes.

Here are my stats for the week:

Height:  5'7"

Highest weight: 339 (BMI=53)
Pre-Op weight: 311
Weight last week: 141
Today's Weight: 140 (BMI=21.9)
Weight Gain/Loss for the week: -1

I've decided my new goal weight is 140, which is where I am now.  My original goal weight was 159, which put my BMI under 25.  Life is grand!!
