WLS Sunday Express
Just swinging by to say Good Morning. It's a chilly, raw morning here in Huntsville -- Brrrrrrrrrr! I rewrote my post from the Positive Posting thread from yesterday, I missed the message about copying and pasting, so I had to redo. But this time, I added pictures.
Times like yesterday, I wish I still lived in TX, I would have LOVED to go to 6 Flags with the rest of the girls. I LOVE the saloon picture, it looked like you guys were having sooooo much fun! I had fun myself yesterday, I wasn't riding a rollercoaster, but since my life these days is a lot like a rollercoaster it was pretty much the same . I'm having a few health issues, I doubt that they are too serious, but I am taking care of it by seeing a Cardiologist to see just what is happening. I've thrown PVCs before, so it'e nothing new, but this is a new Doc so it can't hurt to go see this Cardiologist, have a Echo and wear a Holter monitor for 24 hours. Just to see if there is anything else going on--God knows with MY family history it's better to be safe than sorry.
I certainly hope that everyone is getting geared up for a wonderful Day -- I am joining my some folks and their family here in Huntsville. It'll be fun...I have Fire Extinguisher Duty. Yep! They are frying their turkey.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week, wherever you go and whomever you spend the holidays with. I'll be thinking about all my family (chosen and natural) and hoping that you have a healthy happy day!
Hugs, Mari

Good morning. I had a great day at home yesterday. I cleaned house, did all the laundry, and got the got the Christmas gifts wrapped and under the tree. I even hit my high farkle score, which wasn't exceptionally high!
Today is SS and church, then home to do a few chores, take a nap, and chill on sofa watching movies or something.
Here's to less drama on the TX OH board!
Prayers for all who need them. One of my best friends son had shoulder surgery Friday. Simple outpatient stuff. Apparently he now cannot urinate and is back in hospital on a catheter and can't feel his foot to walk on it. The blow up thing he was supposed to be on on his side during surgery had a leak so they just did w/o and it's done some kind of nerve damage. Hopefully it's temporary, but he's 19 and his parent's are scared to death. He feel like he'll never get to play football in college again. Prayers for Andrew.

Good morning everyone!!! Taking advantage of having the week off and getting to have time to post on the train!!! Yesterday was a rainy nasty day here so it was the perfect do-nothing day!!! Let's just say I am very well rested today!!!!
Today will be a busy day as I am doing several photo shoots! I'm so excited to be starting this new chapter in my journey!!! I would never have had the "umph" to do this prior to WLS! I'm also hoping to head to the gym later in the evening as well as everyday this week. My goal is to go early in the morning and get it out of the way!! I even signed up for a 2 hour class Thanksgiving morning!!! I must have lost my mind!!!
Starting to get nervous about my upcoming plastics... can't believe it's only 2 weeks away!!! I go tomorrow to see my doc and be fitted for my garment and then do my preop at the hospital on Tuesday!
Prayers and ((hugs)) to all who need them today!!!

Good morning, ya'll. I was sleeping so good this morning until my phone gave me it's nasty little message about having a text message! The first Sunday since the weekend of the Halloween Party I could sleep in and I forgot to turn the phone alerts to phone only! Yea me.
I'm still reeling from yesterday's marathon of roller coasters and maybe even still spinning from the 4 straight rounds of tea-cups right as the park was closing (and yes I did tell Liz her boobs were in the way - I speak the truth!). I think the only thing that is "sore" is my ribcage and I don't know if that from a hard stop on the bobsled or from laughing so damn hard all day. I'm going with the laughing part because we definitely did that!!!
The picture of wonderful, but you really had to be there to appreciate the preparation that went into it. Eleven of us, crammed into three dressing areas - I'm sure you imagine that laughter than took place.
(Oh, and Bender "screams like a girl" on the rides, don't let that tough Federal Prison Officer exterior fool ya!)
Dinner was night was fun and relaxing, but you could tell we were all pretty tired. There was no dancing, I think that's the first time I've been to the Seale's with no dancing. But those kids were STILL full of energy.
Now to the not so fun - I don't know if ya'll remember a few weeks ago I mention hearing a "critter" in our attic. Although my husband assures me there is absolutely no way anything could get in the attic, I know I heard something scratching around up there. Well, now there is this horrible odor, so I'm assuming that whatever found its way up there, couldn't find its way out and gone to varmint heaven. I've got enough candles burning to hold a seance. Any quick hints on how to mask the odor?
I think we are going to the deer lease Wednesday after work for Thanksgiving, but those plans aren't hammered in stone. We leave Saturday for our cruise, so if we're going to be gone Wed-Fri, that means I have to get everything packed - or at least laid out ready to pack Friday night when we get home. I'm trying to talk him out of going down there, especially since he got a deer last weekend and his nephew got one yesterday. I just don't really want my stuff packed that early and just sitting and I don't want that RUSHED feeling if I try to pack after we get back Friday night.
I bought a new laptop on Friday and will be picking it up today. I had the "geek squad" do their thing. It cost a little extra, but so worth it for everything to be setup and the added security. This $200 WalMart model does what I intended it to do - keep King entertained, but it doesn't have the power for what I need it to do.
There's my novel for the day. Want it autographed? No problem, print it off and send it to me with a self-addressed stamped envelope! LMAO! Have a great Sunday!

I hope you guys have a fantastic time on your cruise!!! Where are you going? I've never been but ever since I was little and loved to watch The Love Boat (actually I'd still watch it if it were on!) I've been fascinated with them.We leave Galveston a week from today. Our ports are Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel with a return to Galveston the following Sunday. This will be our 2nd cruise, but our 1st 7-day.
