to the mean spirited old hags....
Does that make me an Attention Who%@, lol I hope not....
I love you guys, I'm in such a happy place right now....i even tell the postman i love her too.....
I guess that's what happens when your 1 1/2 weeks away from surgery......
I do need some info.....what exactly is protein coffee? where do you get it? how much do you use...etc.
Also in East Texas I'm not able to find Fage or any kind of Greek yogurt...any suggestions?
And if i find it how do you use it as well, Ive been to eggface, but I'm wondering how "you" use it...
I bought a three different types of protein drinks yesterday, i also bought broth and ice cube trays...I plan on freezing the broth and microwaving what i need at the time....cool huh, learned that from OH.....
I still have alot of the things from Oct 08 packed, such as travel sized toiletries.....
I have so much to do and so little time to do it, even though ive known for 2 months this day was coming.....but you cant pack for 4 people for 4 days 2 months in advance.....
im going to make sure my house is spotless, and all beds are changed and made the day I leave....so I can come home to clean sheets....love clean sheets...
Any more ideas?
OK Protein coffee, you can add flavored or unflavored protein to coffee, but the temp of the coffee has to be below 130deg or it cooks the protein. Then you end up with a yucky curdled mess!
I use Fage (or other Greek yogurts) for all kinds of things. dressings, sauces for meats or dipping, add a little fruit and it's breakfast. You can go to the fage website. (www.fageusa.com) It's pretty good stuff.

I don't drink coffee, but I've read where the others mix their protein powder with water or creamer then add it to their coffee. Apparently, most protein powder clumps if it's mixed with anything hot (I don't know the exact definition of "hot" though). Or they use the ready to drink protein drinks as flavoring in their coffee.
I know you got that big old Super WalMart in New Boston - they don't have ANY greek yogurt? Did you check out the "organic' section they have these day? Maybe you ask them to order it for you, or maybe Mt Pleasant or Texarkana could be a quick trip to find it at one of the grocery stores before you head out. Again, I haven't used the stuff, but I understand DO NOT ATTEMPT TO EAT IT PLAIN! Lots of sugar free syrups added to it, cinnamon and splenda, fruit for the sweeter version and I've read where people mix spicy (like taco seasoning or salsa) for something with a kick.
I think I'll be gone on vacation when you have surgery, but I certainly wish you the best and hope it is uneventful! I'll be looking for your postings when I get back.
Dang woman, I can tell that you're my kinda people!! I love your sense of humor.
Let's take your points one at a time...
1. Yes, it definately sounds like you're an attention ho so that means you'll fit right in.
2. Don't be hittin on your post"woman", that's a WHOLE nuther board...
3. Darn shame I don't know squat about protein coffee. Ask Dana our local Cajun girl- she's addicted.
4. I don't eat no stinkin yogurt...tastes like clabbered milk to me...so once again no help here...
5. Yes, I too love clean sheets...when's the sleepover?
NOW, do you have anything I can actually HELP you with cuz apparently I didn't do too great here...Oh and good luck on your surgery...I'll be right here ready to be helpful with all the answers, lol.
