FOUR YEARS AGO TODAY........
I was at North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills having my RNY Gastric Bypass !!! What a amazing 4 yrs that it has been too. I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined me in a thinner body. After a entire life ( except when I was born at 3 lbs 3 oz ) of obesity and being made fun of all through school I never thought that I would look "normal". To you who are thinking or considering having WLS....just please do this surgery for your health's sake. It is the most amazing thing that I have ever done in my entire lifetime. Yes...there is hurdles to jump and sometimes trials on this journey but what journey is perfect ??? None !!! I have never regretted on second of doing this and trust me....I would do it again and again. Today I am healthy ( well other than a gall bladder that will soon be gone ). I take nothing but my vitamins. If you are considering surgery .....don't put it off. Have a great day !!!
