UPDATE ON ME

I just got off the phone with Shelley at Dr. Kim's office. The hideascan yesterday did confirm that my gallbladder is NOT functioning as it should be. I have a appointment tomorrow AM at 10 to see what his plan is.....I am sure surgery and to me the sooner the better.

Thanks so much Dee. I want it out soon too if that is what the doc thinks needs to be done. I have been dragging out Christmas decorations today....hate putting them up so early but hey.....Not sure what recovery will be like....look at me jumping the gun. LOL

Oh Vivian, bless your little heart....i thought all docs took gallbladders out when the do the WLS...i dont know why i thought that was the norm....well it should be.....sorry your having to go through all this, especially this time of year.

Hey....it really is OK. I have heard that after a few days you are almost back to normal. I am just worried about Christmas parties and my Dec. Support Group meeting since I have no one that does them with me. i am sure that I will manage though....I always do !!!

Great! Just what you want to hear just before the holidays. Fortunately, if they can do it laproscopically, it's much easier than if they have to use a big incision! I hope that tomorrow brings the answers that you are hoping for. I know what you mean, get it done and over with and get back to the business of living! Good Luck and let us know!

Wouldn't it be nice if they would just take the stupid thing out when they do WLS...seems like it would save many people a lot of problems, but, they all don't. Phooey!
