4+ yr post ops - what labs do you request?

I am 4 1/2 yrs post op and feeling fairly good overall.  I would like to have some really thorough  labs run and am wondering what we "oldtimers" should have tested?

I do not see my surgeon (and have not since my 1 yr post op appt), but my PCP and endocrinologist are more than happy to run whatever I request.

Does anyone have the list that Dana suggested awhile back?  I would really appreciate any and all comments/suggestions!

Thanks,
Terri

Thanks Debra!

Are these the labs that you were doing before you had iron infusions, and if so did you add anything extra AFTER the problems?

Many thanks,
Terri

I'm 2 1/2 years out and I get: CBC, CMP, Serum Iron, Ferritin, PTH, B-12, Lipid (Cholesterol) panel, calcium and Thyroid panel.  Add a Hemoblogin A1C if you're diabetic and next time I'll probably ask about a Vitamin D level as well.
