woo hoo Wednesday WLS Express
I was just thinking about texting you and thought, nah, I better wait LOL and here you are!!
Working on my 1st cup of coffee this morning. Going to meet with an educational/financial advisor at an institute today to get some clarification to some questions I have.
David made chili yesterday (yum!) plus I had pulled out some soup I made so we had some good warm stuff to eat yesterday, it was chilly. Gonna be that way today too!
We started packing a few things here and there so we won't be so scatter brain for our upcoming trip to Plano.
Looking forward to spending time with my grandbabies!! Most recent woohoo is going out walking with my neighbor and not huffing and puffing, gasping for air.
Hope you have a great day!!
Blessings,
Nina

Good Morning Danni and the rest of my TMB Family,
Happy Woo Hooo Wednesday. My woo hoo today is that my house is almost all unpacked. I still have pictures to put up. I worked on it the other day but ran out of hangers. My job for today will be to put up the rest of them. Had a great day yesterday with Mark. It is going to be very strange when he goes back to work and I have to start finding my way around on my own. Thank Goodness for GPS. We went shopping for the master bath yesterday and got a new shower curtain, and one of those rods like they have in the hotels that curves. Funny how little things like that make you happy! Then to the grocery store where I got all my stuff for Thanksgiving including a 20lb turkey. I am so excited that my family will be here. Mom and Dad on Monday, Tim and Jon on Thursday and Nadia on Saturday. The house will be a little crowded but what the heck we are all family. Dont feel all that great this morning so think I will take it easy for a little bit anyway. We want to go and check out the youth center for Eric. From what I hear it is really nice and it will be a great place for him to hang with his friends and I wont have to worry so much. Weight is maintaining but I really do need to work on some kind of an exercise program. Maybe I will do the WII today. So glad that Dana's surgery went well. Just wish she was not in so much pain but she is in a good place for that. Prayers this morning for her, Jenny and Eric, Viv and her family, and all those that are unspoken. Have a blessed day. Love you guys.

This song is stuck in my mind this morning, and no, I'm not saying WHY.... just enjoy.... It's Big & Rich's "Save a Horse"....
DUM-DE-DE-DUM, DE-DE-DUM-DE-DE-DUM, DE-DAA-DAAAAA
DUM-DE-DE-DUM, DE-DE-DUM-DE-DE-DUM, DE-DAA-DAA-DAA-DAA-DAAAA!
Well, I walk into the room
Passing out hundred dollar bills
And it kills and it thrills like the horns on my Silverado grill
And I buy the bar a double round of crown
And everybody's getting down
An' this town ain't never gonna be the same.
Cause I saddle up my horse
And I ride into the city
I make a lot of noise
Cause the girls
They are so pretty
Riding up and down Broadway
On my old stud Leroy
And the girls say
Save a horse, ride a cowboy.
Everybody says
Save a horse, Ride a cowboy
Well I don't give a dang about nothing
I'm singing and Bling- Blanging
While the girls are drinking
Long necks down!
And I wouldn't trade ol' Leroy
Or my Chevrolet for your Escalade
Or your freak parade
I'm the only John Wayne left in this town
And I saddle up my horse
And I ride into the city
I make a lot of noise
Cause the girls
They are so pretty
Riding up and down Broadway
On my old stud Leroy
And the girls say
Save a horse, ride a cowboy.
Everybody says
Save a horse, Ride a cowboy
I'm a thourough-bred
That's what she said
In the back of my truck bed
As I was gettin' buzzed on suds
Out on some back country road.
We where flying high
Fine as whine, having ourselves a big and rich time
And I was going, just about as far as she'd let me go.
But her evaluation
Of my cowboy reputation
Had me begging for salvation
All night long
So I took her out giggin frogs
Introduced her to my old bird dog
And sang her every Wilie Nelson song I could think of
And we made love
And I saddle up my horse
And I ride into the city
I make a lot of noise
Cause the girls
They are so pretty
Riding up and down Broadway
On my old stud Leroy
And the girls say
Save a horse, ride a cowboy.
Everybody says
Save a horse, Ride a cowboy
What? What?
Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy
Everybody says
Save a Horse Ride a cowboy.

Not much to woo hoo today. They took us out of the Stand by room because the maintenance dept is converting the room into two rooms and the Manager didn't want anything to fall on our heads! So now all of a sudden there's work for us to do! Go figure! At least I'm documenting and counting all the mail that's in the area where I'm supposed to be working and when faced with facts and figures, they can't deny it. And I've filed a grievance with the union. So..... I'll let you know if anything comes of it!
Well, better get going. I'm glad that ya'll are here to listen to my bad mood everyday. Just sorry it has to be such a downer! I don't mean to be, but in life's ups and down cycles, I'm in a downer right now.
Ok, better get to the shower and get to work! Such as it is! Ya'll have a great day! Love ya!

Woke at 4:30 this morning wide awake so got dress to go for my run and was able to fit in a 2X sweatshirt my sister must have bought me around 95 or so, woohoo. Granted it has my name airbrushed on it so will not wear it in "public" but for a run at 4:45 in the morning it is perfect when it is chilly out there.
Have been shopping for a new vehicle recently, do not exactly need one right yet but there are some nice offers currently. Have a deal in the works for a Ford Edge Limited for 29,000 (5150 off the sticker) plus 4k for my 2002 Silverado so a nice Edge for 25 might be in my future.
Can not wait for the run sunday night, but will be a busy weekend, I start a weeks vacation on Sat with a run, rise and shine, run Chris to my parents, start the chicken for potluck, the nutcracker for my niece, finish the chicken for potluck then go to potluck on Saturday. Sunday I think will be Christmas decorations, and starting of Patio building (my vacation project) then Prarie Lights 5k with the Princess Crew
Christmas decorating at home tonight...got to climb back in the attic to find a couple of things that must be thrown in the wrong Christmas tubs from last year. I need them to put out my Santas (LOTS of them) and my stockings.
Prayers for Dana and Karen to get well soon! Hope you two start feeling better soon.
Remembering the Aggie Bon Fire families on the 10 yr. anniversary. today. My vets son was injured in this but recovered. It just seems like yesterday.
Have a great Wednesday!
