Terrific Tuesday WLS Express
It's COLD in Galveston this morning; I had to turn on the heater and snuggle back under the covers until it warmed up this morning!!!
Thank you ALL for the B'day wishes. Funny story: I have a b'day twin I went to high school with and she has the same initials as mine but she is a year older. Long story short, we re-connected on FB recently - how cool is that! And then thru FB I found a TMB B'day twin!!! So my terrific-ness is a fabulous b'day today!
Take time for YOU, eat protein first, take your vits, drink your water and move your body!! Prayers for all who need 'em and special ones for Karen P, Dana and Amy

I love cold weather, I do like to enjoy it from the warmth of my warm toastie house!!!!!
Life is getting terrific! I drove on the freeway yesterday. It was uneventful and I am happy to report no one was hurt or killed during my drive. LOL
Things are ever so slowly getting better . I would love to be all recupperated so that I could do the Prairie Walk and so that I could go back to work (the money would be so great for the holidays) but, the return to work will not happen until Jan.
I miss you guys and hope to see you soon. Love ya Gaye

Good morning train riders from chilly Rowlett. I got put "on call" this morning cuz work is slow. What's up with that? Everytime I've worked lately we've been swamped. Apparently not too many babies being born today. I hate burning vacation days when I'd rather be at work. Oh well, I have tons of Christmas presents to wrap.
Clay had a fire going in the fireplace when I walked in last night. That's the ONLY thing I like about winter. Unfortunately it was so nice and warm it put me to sleep. I was out before 10:00.
Looking forward to this weekend. Going to see Ron White with Lynnette and Clay at Winstar on Friday, then LL's dinner Saturday night for more peep time. Woohoo...can't wait.
Prayers for Dana, Karen and Eric for healing and health.

Had a great time visiting with Rachel and Amy at the support group last night. Tonight I'm meeting some women from church at Mimi's for dinner. I've already picked out what I think I'm going to have, and some alternatives in case that doesn't appeal tonight. I stayed within my goal yesterday and the scale was down a pound today. It's great seeing an immediate loss, but even better to feel more in control and satisfied without getting over stuffed during the day.
Jeff has found the two classes he's going to take in the spring at Richland college. He'll be in class from 5:30-11:15pm Tues/Thurs nights so I'll still have my two nights a week to myself. Hopefully he'll be able to get in district rates because there isn't a comparable program at Collin College. Also, once he registers they can do a full transcript review to figure out exactly how many classes he'll need to graduate. I'm pretty sure he'll end up with his Associates with over 150hrs of college classes. UGH, too bad we can't just turn that into a Bachelor's.
Prayers going up for all of our family here that need it!
