Wow! Moment...my first real one.
Friday night, he walks in the house with them after getting home. The kids put their stuff in their bedrooms, then come in and sit down. I'm sprawled out in the recliner relaxing after a particularly nasty Friday.
After about a half an hour, we decided to head to Jason's Deli for dinner. I stand up for the first time since the kids come in and Melanie (the cynical 15 year old) looks at me and says "Jenn, OH MY GOD you have lost a TON of weight! You look great!"
Of course clothes were starting to fit a little different and I can sort of see it in my face but since I see myself every day I just don't see the HUGE change...even in pictures yet. It felt great
Just had to share.

I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
Jenn, I understand and congrats!!!
I had the recent experience of seeing my ex-mother in law... Hadn't seen her in about 1 1/2 years, which was about 100+ lbs. ago! What made it funny to me was how excited she was at my 'success' and gushed and gushed about it, right in front of her very overweight son (my ex).... I felt kind of bad later, but at the time it was funny as hell...
So, enjoy those moments as they flow your way - they are few and sometimes far between but so totally worth it when they happen!
Congrats and keep up the hard work!
