Nuthin But Nutrition Monday

Still holding my own...down 1/2 lb. since yesterday.  My eating was fine yesterday.  I guess going to SS and church helps keep me on track all morning for sure!

Today's plan: 
lots of liquids
protein coffee
Mc D iced sf coffee
1/2 sausage biscuit if I feel like it...I'm in the mood to eat real food this morning, not just liquids
sushi for lunch
leftover steak for dinner w/ veggie

Hi Karla & NBN Crew,

I have not checked in during the past two days due to the following:

I enjoyed being with my sister and brothers on Saturday for our usual early thanksgiving dinner.   I am still in a carb induced hangover.  We always say we aren't going to cook so much food but we always do.  I was able to fix plates so I had leftovers yesterday and I barbequed some ribs in the oven with a salad, corn and ranch style beans. I am listing what was on the spread for Saturday and I ate some as leftovers yesterday...my plates may or may not include some of this...LOL!  I

cornbread dressing
gravy
rice dressing
tamale dressing
twice baked potatoes
ham
fried turkey
fried chicken
mustard greens
cabbage
corn
green beans
okra & tomatoes
crawfish fettucine
candid yams
cranberry sauce
rolls
desserts (coconut pie, pecan candy aka pralines, honey bun cake, lemon pie, peach cobbler, italian creme cake, sweet potato pie , pound cake)

OH MY Lord, Faith - that food looks like nirvana!! Crawfish fettucine!  Yes!!

I don't blame you one bit for being in a carb coma for that!

yet another week has passed and I am still over the top on my weight.

but I made mondo amounts of soup yesterday and it's in the frig. If that doesn't take it off, it ain't coming off.  Just have to eat frequently to stay full and not think of all the snack stuff. Emm caught me eating at 10:00 last night and commented that that wasn't smart. Boy is she right.

got some shakes made as well and my eggs from brekkie.  Don't expect miracles, just getting off the last 4 or 5 over the top of comfortable pounds before thanksgiving.

Well no surprises, my weight is fluctuating wildly largely in part I'm sure to the fact that I'm not being consistent.  I really do want to see some steady, small weight loss and to do that I have to quit taking days off and get back into better habits for more than 1 or 2 days at a time.  Today I'm shooting for staying at 1500 cal and still being satisfied.  I've planned out my meals through dinner and an evening snack, and said some prayers for strength to stick with it.

Protein coffee
Egg beaters w/ turkey ham, spinach, mushrooms, yellow peppers, and green onions
3 oz smoked turkey breast and corn
Cottage cheese w/ spaghetti sauce
Apple
Meatballs and corn
SF pudding

Posting daily here really helps me make a plan and the days I don't post are the ones that I go off track.  So, I've got to get and stay consistent!

you can do this - you have a good plan - and I'm gonna start nagging you - with love of course - any day you don't post

I did ok yesterday - not great since I had a stress munch when Rach wouldn't go to bed but only about 300 extra calories - 200 of which were chocolate LOL I have figured out I am fine UNTILL I take ONE bite not on my list or not at meal/snack time and then I lose control so NO bites today

todays plan

7 shake  - just finished that
9 fiber bar - or not may save it for latter
11:30 shrimp ****tial, couscouse with one melted lf baby bell
2:30 shake with coffee and 1/2 cup milk
4 apple with 2 cheeses - have 3 kinds of low fat individual packaged cheeses so I have a choice:)
6 ww spagetti with very veggie sauce and turkey meatballs
8 some kind of pumpkin pie - will be at the very least low sugar and lower fat -promised a boy child
10 if I am still awake and need it  - a shake, OR shirmp OR fiber bar - NO CHOCOLATE MUNCHIES TONIGHT

the scale is still being kind - down another pound - MUST keep this up as long as possible -mr pouch is getting smaller or more sensitive or something but I defintally am feeling restrictions

Lousy week last week and weekend - you can read my post about pulling a muscle.  So, for this week, just hoping to hold steady.  I'm up 2 lbs in recent weeks, but that's not uncommon for me - tend to bounce up/down.

Today, back on food plan, but workouts are shot this week...

B-Oatmeal
S-Banana/Cheerios
L-Pot roast with carrots, potatoes & celery
D-??  Have a couple of things in mind, not sure what I'll fix yet
