Good Morning Danni and the rest of my TMB Family,

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  We certainly did.  Starting to be able to find my way around a little.  Mark and I drove for what seemed like forever to find a decent Mexican place to eat yesterday.  We tried one a few days ago and it was terriable.  Litterly made me sick.  Well needless to say we never found one so took a trip to the mall and had a wrap from a place called Salad Works.  I know better then to eat wraps.  Oh well.  One of these days I remember to think twice.  Not much going on today.  Have to work on putting my pictures up.  They are all placed where I want them just need to get them up.  That is a huge job in my house.  Eric has his first day at a new school this morning.  He is already telling me he does not want to go.  He wont admit it but he is nervous.  Say an extra little prayer for him today.  My mom and dad will be here a week from today.  I am so excited.  Have not seem them in what seems like forever. Still got lots to do to get ready for them.  Anyway.  Prayers this morning for all in need but especially Dana as she has her surgery this morning.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.

Good morning.

Prayers for our tiny little Cajun Girl Dana this morning as she has her surgery.

Ben leaves for Aggieland in a few minutes.  Hard to believe next time I see him it will already be Thanksgiving.  He's staying next weekend for the A & M vs. Baylor game and then his dad and I will go over there on the Wed. before Thanksgiving for a few days.  He'll come back here after that with most of his dorm room stuff.  Only 2.5 weeks after Thanksgiving the semester is over!  It's gone by so fast.  He has tests in all 4 classes this week, so it probably doesn't feel so fast for him.

I have lots of folders to process at work today.  Maybe get a few Christmas things put out in the house when I get home if I feel like it.

Prayers for all who need them.  Karen, hope you get to go home soon.

Have a great Monday!

Karla

Hello Train!

The weekend was certainly not long enough for me.  I had a great day of activity Saturday even tho I went thru periods of "I don't feel so good" and very tired from overacitivity.  Sunday was very mellow.  The only reason I left the house was to go get my hair trimmed.

Today is work (meh!) and then I have business meeting for my medieval group.  I'm an officer so I can't bum off.

That's really about it.  Oh...the exciting life I lead.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I had a busy weekend - Steve spent the weekend at the deer lease -(didnt see anything, only tracks) and I went to a wedding in Austin.  It was beautiful and elegant. I had fun with HS friends, but now.............................................Tired.  and hurting  and thinking, why did I do that. OH well, live and learn.

I am trying to push myself because I am tire of being sick and hurting. I do plan to rest for the most part today, then will work on getting things going tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a good (whatever that means to you ) weekend and plans for a great week.

Love ya, Gaye
Life is what you make of it! Enjoy when possible.

Good Morning riders !!  (((((((((((((Huggsss))))))))))))t o all ..

Prayers for DAna this morning for her surgery...............I'm sure that all will be FINE !!

I had a WONDERFUL weekend.  I worked most of Saturday..........took daughter, Amanda and 2 of her friends to Benihana's for lunch............2 HOURS.........GRRRRRRRRRRRRR    Amanda enjoyed it and I got back to work about 215 and left at 4pm....................

Met James for Dinner and a movie on SAturday night...........Mexican food and 2012.......good movie/.   I may go again because daughter wants to see it....................

Sunday -  drove to OKC to pick up brother and bring him back to DAllas to R&R.  He is in severe pain and well - if he would take his *(*& meds on a timely basis it would get better........but I won't go there........he is 42 yrs old - almost 43 and he is a big boy and need to do what he knows he needs to do !!
Got home about 4-5 last night.............traffic was horrible on i-35 SOUTH from Denton to home........grrrrrrrrrrrrr  of course - it didn't help that I managed to dodge the downpours all day until about Gainsville southbound and then I was just a nervous wreck....

Got home, emptied car..........ran to Wally world for weekly stuff and daughter and I went to Mexican last night.  I enjoyed a pina colada with her and  even though we sharedit..........i got home about 8ish and ended up in bed..............yucky feeling..............too much sugar I guess.

YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY
  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.

Good morning Train Riders!!  Woohoo for another week where we can do what needs to be done to get and stay healthy!!  I'm coming to accept the fact that in order to continue my journey and actually lose below the 255 mark I'm going to have to quit putzing along and make mindful choices.  I've been doing pretty much whatever I wanted since my panniculectomy last Dec and since then I've lost a grand total of 33.5 lbs.  19 of that was skin, so in 12 months I've managed to lose 14.5 lbs.  Yes that's good, I haven't gone up, but it's not what I went through all of this for.  I didn't go through the surgery, recovery, and financial strain to settle in at this weight.  I'm healthier than I was before, but I'm not done!

So I'm going to set some short term, achievable goals to help get me back on track, or rather onto a new track.  The track I've been on isn't working for me, so it's time to switch things around.  My goal for today is to keep my calories around 1500 and be satisfied with my choices.  My goal for the week is to track my food intake in both FitDay and the Nutrition thread every day, M-S (even on the six flags trip).  I'm going to tackle things one day, and one week at a time.  Once the days and weeks start adding up, I'll set up longer goals, but for now I need small goals.

Prayers going up for everyone that needs them, and in particular Jenny & Eric and Dana.  Do something good for yourself today!

Debbi
