Boy did that do the trick! I'm 9 days postop RNY and was still having alot of burning tight pain in my left side. Saw the Dr. yesterday she suggested a heating pad. I bought one and man I feel 100% better today and only needing pain medicine every 6 hr.s as a precaution. I definitely recommend a heating pad. I wish I would have known that sooner.

Glad you are feeling better.....................don't underestimate the power of drugs though -  use them when you need them !!

  • Pease check out Dr. Connie Stapleton's Website. A lot of good information on there for all WLS patients regardless of the surgery you chose.  Good luck to all and I'm here for you if you want to send me an email.  I'll answer it as soon as possible.

Good Advise ,Thanks Phyllis. I had refries beans last night and might not have that again for awhile a little gassy last night. I'm thinking of baking little quiches today with shredded veggies and egg and cottage cheese.  Using a mini muffin tin and freezing them for breakfast on days I wiork. The cottage cheese and veggies makes them light.Good for mushie stage.
