Day 3 - I am really trying - I drove yesterday! Can home with a headache and neck ache from hell, but I drove and no one died or was injuried in the event I say that a WOW for sure,
Today I have few plans on the agenda - Husbands friend died and we are going to the visitation tonight, I might try to clean out a shelf or something productive. Not really sure.
I am trying to decide about my weekend. One of my dearest HS friends daughter is getting married in Austin. I want to go sooooooooo badly, just not sure that I can handle the ride. We will be staying the night Sat. then coming home Sunday morning - I just can't decide with I should do.

Hi, everyone! I haven't posted anything all week, because I've been pooky sick. Just came back from the doctors with a prescription of antibiotics and cough syrup w/codine. My sinuses were so painful, even the roof of my mouth and some top teeth ached yesterday. Blech.
However, I had an awesome weekend in Austin. Went with my OLD college roomie to catch my favorite band and had a blast talking with the band manager and seeing old friends again.
Now I'm waiting until DH gets home from work with my prescription filled.
Hope everyone is doing alright.
Belle with the sore throat, crackling ears, cough, sneeze, whine, whistle and fever.

It's been a crazy day here. We have a tropical depression (remnants of Ida) and a nor'easter from Canada that ran into each other stalled out on top of us here in VA Beach. Kids and hubby all got to stay home today....AND it's hubby's birthday on top of it all. Totally screwed up my plans for today. Was supposed to go buy hubby his card and gifts today while everyone was gone. Well, that didn't happen. Thankfully, hubby is a 'big boy' and understands he will have to wait. They are saying tomorrow will be a repeat of today, so I don't know when I'll get to go shopping. We (hubby and I) were supposed to go to a marriage conference this weekend at our church. Not even sure if that is happening now. Oh well.....we'll see...
