Good Morning My TMB Family,

Its another rainy day in Dover.  Guess we are getting some of what was Hurricaine Ida.  I dont mind still have lots to do inside.  Have got the kitchen unpacked, and actually baked sf snickerdoodels, and then a meatloaf for dinner last night.  Nice to be back in the kitchen.  No more meals on the run for a long time.  I do have something Terrific that has happened to me lately.  In the week I was on the road, I managed to put on ZERO pounds.  Got on the scale for the first time in a very long time, and I was the exact weight I was when we left Texas.  Made me a happy camper.  You know I always stress about that stuff.  Now I need to start getting out and walking.  Will be doing that as soon as the rain stops.  We are going to Eric's new school today to meet with his counselor so that he can start school on Monday.  Have to take all the information they need to them.  I miss all of you guys so much but am VERY GREATFUL that I have TMB to come to every morning to keep up with the latest.  How are Eric and Jenny doing?  They have been on my mind a lot.  Liz are you sleeping yet?  Viv how are things on the home front?  Gina, the job still going well for you guys?  Laura any word on a new job with the P.O.?  Anxious to hear about anything.  Prayers for all those in need this morning.  Have a blessed day.  Michelle

 Michelle....We MISS you too.    As for a update on me and my family.   Kids are both still in the house with us.   GF has a job and starts making money this weekend.   Middle son will find out today if he gets the job he applied for on monday.     Oldest son got fired as Starbucks manager on monday and is now looking for another job.    I went to my bariatric surgeon yesterday.    He is ordering a ultrasound on my gall bladder ( he thinks some of the problems I am having could be the gall bladder) also a CT scan on my abdominal and pelvic area.    That is what is going on in my life...oh i saw my pouch with the florascope yesterday and it is still very small.   Thank GOD for that.    SO glad that you are getting things organized at your new home.     We love and miss you.

GOOD MORNING! Michelle-I'm glad you are unpacking and in the kitchen again. AND WOO HOO on maintaining your weight! That's awesome!
Yesterday was a good day- I found out my eyes haven't gotten worse and am trying a new contact lens that is supposed to help with dry eye-something I have trouble with. I went to the room parent meeting at Chris's school. We sat in the cafeteria while kids were eating and the band was practicing on the stage behind the curtain. Talk about LOUD! I'm amazed that Chris can handle it. They have 8 person round tables and I couldn't hear the person across from me. It was crazy. I emailed the teacher to get the info I needed and then I'll send out a letter to the parents soon about the upcoming events of the year. This is my first time being room mom since Chris was in kindergarten. Should be fun.
I finished shopping for my secret santa- in our family the adults draw names and buy for that one person. I did that online yesterday. I'm done with Emily too-got her the newest singing dancing Elmo and I can't wait to see her play with it as she LOVES Elmo!

Bryan picked up Chris's new bed and mattress last night. This weekend we'll be putting it together and getting things moved around. Laura- let me know if your friend needs the entertainment center or the queen sized bed and dresser- or if anyone else has a need for them.

Still haven't heard about any of the jobs.  You know the govt, hurry up and wait!  I'm just asking for prayers that I get a positive answer and will have the perfect job that utilizes my knowledge, skills and abilities soon.  I don't know how much more of this I can handle.

Had a pretty good night.  Bandit only wanted off the bed once!  Tuesday night, he kept me up all  night because of his back itching!  He drove me crazy and I had to go to Walmart at 3 am to get some Lanacane and other stuff to help him stop itching!  It was really sad to see!  And he broke a blood vessle in his eye and you know how that itches when it happens.  He was rubbing his face something terrible.  Now that it's done, it looks bad, but I don't think it is bad.  I don't know what is going on with him.  Poor little guy!!

Well, guess I'd better get into the shower and off to work.  The stand-by room awaits!!  Ya'll have a great day!  Love ya!

Good morning all.

I feel like I have a whole bunch of boring going on right now in my life.  I have no plans for really anything until next weekend when we head down to the Houston area.  Probably a good thing because I'm still trying to be sick right now.

Excited for the Holiday party shaping up in Frisco on the 5th.  Clint and I are so excited to get out and meet some of the local OH-ers.  We have lots of wonderful opportunity this holiday season to meet new people and spend time with family and extended family.   I think I'm a little blue because Mom won't be coming in for the first time in about 2 or 3 years.  She'll be flying in from Michigan in February because my brother will be in town then too so we'll have our 'Christmas' then.  And I'm so excited to be going to Arizona to see Clint's family over Christmas.

Methinks I need to do a whole lot of napping this weekend.  I need to get over this cold bug or whatever the heck it is and start feeling better.  Post op wise, I'm feeling super.  No more surgical incision pain.  I want to get out and start actually exercising on a regular basis but I just feel like poo right now and have even LESS energy than I did 2 weeks ago.

Good morning.  It's the same story today...paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, then my homebound student after wor****il about 6.  Home to write checks to pay bills since I get paid tomorrow.

Good morning everyone,

Yes, it's a good morning cuz I got to talk to my boy yesterday.  He had enough time that he got to talk to his dad and then call me.  That was great.  I did find out that his dad has had the info we've needed about Josh's graduation all this time, just failed to read the full form letter that was sent.  UGH!  Ex's.  I spent a good part of my day researching and sending out requests on the Navy for Mom's website and after getting what I could from that, deducted that the ex had to have the remaining info.  Amazingly, when he read the letter, the password we needed was right there.  Enough about that.

2 weeks til Thanksgiving.   Does everyone have their eating plan in order?  Make a plan and stick to it.  How will you deal with leftovers?  Do you have SF alternatives?  Are you going to just go for it and do extra workouts?  Plan now so you won't feel like a failure.

I'm an Aunt!!!! Wooohooooo!!!  Jeff's sister had the baby yesterday around 5ish.  I called to get an update just seconds after he was born and heard him crying.  Awwww!  They should be going home today or tomorrow, and I think we're going to try to see about heading down there (to Nacogdoches) on Saturday.  I'm so happy for them and have a little bit of sadness mixed in, but that will pass.

We had a great support group meeting last night.  We talked about Thanksgiving challenges and strategies and also about non-scale victories.  Today I've got to work on a menu for the next wfew weeks and also figure out what to take to a couple of church events.  Tomorrow night we're having a craft night for ladies and I have to take cookies, then Sunday is our Thanksgiving dinner and I'm signed up for a veggie side dish and dessert.  Not sure what I'm going to take but I'll figure out something.
