1 Week liquid diet-starts Friday

My weightloss journey is fixing to get started.....
I start my liquid diet on Friday.....I'm not at all looking forward to it either.
Any helpful hints to get me excited about this??  (Besides the fact that it starts my journey)

I was not looking forward to this process either then I talked to the Dr's office and they said you can have your surgery in 2 weeks if you start the pre op diet today.  All I will say is thank goodness for the new SF flavored packets for bottled water and SF popsicles.  I went for 2 weeks and I am sure you will notice that your week will go by faster than you thought and how easy it was.

Congrats on the start of your journey! I can't say it was easy, but at least Dr. B does not require as long of a liquid diet as some other surgeons. I had to keep that thought in my mind constantly. The closer I got to the "big day", the more nervous I got, so that helped some too Try to think of it one hour or day at a time, instead of the whooooole phase. I had lots of soup, water and SF popcicles, as well as the protein. It's a small price to pay and you can do it!

Good luck with the liquid diet.  It was the worst part of the whole process for me.  Just keep envisioning your liver getting smaller so your surgeon has an easier time with your surgery.  You will make it!!
