Good afternoon all.  Hope everyone had a chance to thank a Veteran today.  Mary and I went up to Applebee's.  They were feeding Vets for free.  The most enjoyable part of it is chatting with fellow veterans and watching other veterans talk with each other.  Comparing stories.  God bless America.

Had an okay day today.  Working on getting some money from my 401k to get car repairs prior to going to Branson.  Almost thought we would have to cancel the trip, but it will all work out.

Macon is two days without his belly band.  Geez is he frisky.  Bounces all over the place.

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Hey George...
HA!  My girls are all rowled up with my screw-tightening tactics.  Still no phone but I'm sure it will show up one of these days...

I'm a bit irked at the school district right now, too.  Heather needs some additional academic testing.  The PROMISED me that if we dismissed her from special ed, she would still be monitored and at any time we could request a meeting, etc.  So, we did that because there are a few things she needs that she is not getting.  Out of about 10 people who could have shown up, only ONE teacher did.  Nice.  The lady who heads up special ed didn't even show.  PITIFUL.  The one teacher who was there was her English teacher and she agreed that she probably should be retested to see where her shortcomings were.  I got an email back today from the counselor that stated "sorry, because she isn't in special ed. anymore, she won't be tested!!!  What a bunch of CRAP.  Of course, doesn't help that I am a very pissy mood due to my phone situation but still....

Ok, time to go cool off.....

Nah, don't cool off.  Fight them.  How can you monitor someone without testing, if the concerned parties don't show up?

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Yep, I usually bug the hell out of them until they scream "OK, WE'LL DO IT"!!!  That was my point, too, how convenient to say "no, we don't want to test her" when they aren't there face to face to tell you!!!
