Yesterday we bought an Expedition... I am excited about the truck but obviously not the payments! lol It's an Eddie Bauer and fully loaded. We took the kids to the dr for flu shots and everyone was sprawled out, so I guess there really is plenty of room.
 
About a month ago we were all sitting at the table and Chase called Addison "Tonto", because HE is the LONE Ranger. That really got under Addison's skin and she told Chase that she was NOBODY's side kick and besides that his horse isn't even white. He replied that it didn't matter that someday we'd buy him a white horse. Through giggles Addison said that since he was so sure of himself she'd like to know what he'd name it....   his reply was "Kevin, of coarse!" So now whenever we see any type of animal that is white we calll him "Kevin". Last night Kaylee told a mutual friend of hers and Chase's that he was getting the Mustang this weekend. The friend told Chase that his parents bought him a "horse" So now Chase is so excited that we bought him his "Kevin". I hope he is more excited about the car then he will be about being let down that he didn't get a white horse. Another day in the life...... oy vey!

Speaking of horses- we are going to the horse sale tonite. Chase may end up with a Mustang and a "Kevin" Did I already say "oy vey"??!! hehe! Actually I am hoping to end up with just some tack and no extra mouths to feed thru winter. Right now is a good time to buy livestock though since the price of hay is still outrageous.

Still working out details of the Princess run. By this time last year I was running over 25miles a week and getting emotionally ready to do this. This year I have been such a slacker! I really need to get on with my training!

Hug a Veteran today! I need to call dad and tell him thanks. He was a career Navy guy. Thanks to those who serve- Danni - extra special hugs to you and yours today!!

NOt much planned for today -  just work....................banks are closed today for VETS day and I'm off today - so my puppy, house and the couch all have some "bonding time" scheduled this evening..............whoo hooo !!  :)             I think that I'll actually COOK dinner !!      I may just "cook out" on the grill............gas grill that is !!

I got my flu shot here at work this am......................so I'm set for this year............not that I haven't already had a bout of that crap a few months ago.............but thats okay.....WHAT WILL BE WILL BE...........

I can't believe I almost forgot to pop in today!  Better late than never, right?  :)

My Wooo Hooo for today is that I was down another pound AND my house is clean.  I love having a clean house.  Making the kids clean their rooms today.  I do NOT touch their rooms other than washing their sheets and putting their clean clothes ON their dressers. 

It's rainy and cold here today so I've got Taco soup going in the crock pot.  House smells yummy between the soup and my apple cinnamon candles.  I love the fall.  Winter in VA sux, but fall is awesome.  Reminds me of south TX winters.  :)

CRAP-py day today..hope tomorrow is better.  HAS to be better.  I have my running gear laid out for tomorrow morning...we'll see.  (According to Lexi, "we'll see" mean no....LOL)
