Good Morning -

Day 2 - I am jumping on the train

Wake up about 1 hour ago - hurting! I am trying to cut back and get off my pain meds. I guess it is not working-  or  -the soft neck brace is making me hurt more.  It is one of those two thing.

Today, I am planning to get out of the house. I am spending way to much time couped up and alone. DD is taking driving and spend a little time away.

Kathy, Jodie - hope you get the big one today!!

To everyone else, have a great Veterans Day, and thanks to all our vets, you are loveed, Thanks for your service.

First of all Happy Veterans Day!

Thank you to all our current and former vets and their families. Allie spent the night last night so we have been up since 5am. Her asthma is acting up so I'm trying to get her to do a breathing treatment. Today is my Monday at work, but feel like I worked yesterday. Went to a workshop at work and a employee rally, they have rallies every month with a topic and you get your name entered into a drawing that happens in Jan where they give away cars, and $$$. They are still interviewing people for the job openings I have another interview tomorrow. Well time to watch Blues Clues. Kathy I'm not a hunter but it sounds like so much fun to hang out and just chill with one of your "sistah friends"

Your loved!

Lynnette

Morning everyone,

No holiday for me. Oh well, there are things to do and I still can honor the Vets in my heart.

Busy day with work and covering this week for those training on the new software like I did last week. It's a bit overwhelming and I feel like I will never learn it, but I guess it will come together over time.

My mind is reeling over the condo as well. I locked in my rate with my mortgage guy yesterday and was able to knock off another 1/2% on the interest. Also had to work on insurance (condo and car) and that will be even cheaper than the renters insurance I have now. If, IF, all works out I will have approval by Thanksgiving and can possibly close by mid December.   Any chicken swinging you would like to do for me, would be greatly appreciated.

Got some emotional stuff going on as well - as if the other isn't enough. Found out yesterday that I am not the only one that is having a real tough time healing and moving forward.   It's bittersweet I suppose.

Okay, off to get myself ready. My early schedule will only be until the 30th. I will appreciate the extra time in the morning.  Prayers for so many in need of healing emotionally, physically and financially.  Blessings to the rest.

Becky

God/Good Morning.

Jumping on real quick just to make sure you all know I am still around.  This is hump day of He(( week for me, and it is going really smooth.  Kinda makes you look around for that other shoe..

Kathy, you and Jodie are in the heart of my Dad's homeland.  His brother was Chief of Police in Brownwood for years back in the late 50's and 60's.  I spent many a happy day out that way.  Enjoy.

My heart and prayers go out today and every day to our Veterans and active Military.  My Dad served in Korea and never spoke of it.  I can only imagine what he saw, what he felt and how he dealt with it all.  My Mom spent that time in DC, working in the Pentagon.  So, with tears in my eyes and peace in my life, Thank You to all who serve and served.

Y'all have a great one!

Good morning and God morning everyone,

Today will be a great day.  I claim it and hope all of you do as well.  I'm researching things to do while we are in Chicago for Josh's graduation.  It hit me that he will be a Veteran some day.  My baby boy.  My dad was career Air Force, so I honor him especially today along with all the others.

Waiting on a very important phone call.  Praying it comes very soon and with the results I need.

Saying prayers for all of you.  Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Train Riders! Happy Veterans Day to all those that served, past, present and future!

Trying to stay on track with my positivity this week! It's just something I need to get better at!! I loved Bill's FaceBook status this morning, for those of you without FB, here's what it said:

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present! I think this is special..... live and savor every moment... ...this is not a dress rehearsal! Author Unknown

I've seen it before, but it really meant something to me today! Live each moment to the fullest...that last part speaks volumes!!

Hope everyone has a Happy Hump day!!! Prayers and positive vibes and swingin' chickens and livestock for those in need!! Miss you guys!!!

Hugz,
Gina L

Good Morning train riders...aparently Veteran's Day is not a big holiday here in Rowlett cuz I have jury duty today.  I was shocked that they were open today.  No less I go at 3:45 this afternoon.  How strange is that?  Clay had Dallas County jury duty yesterday (going thru the G's in the alphabet?) and his case involved sex with a minor under the age of 14.  They had a pool of 72 people and couldn't seat a jury and dismissed everyone.  They asked Clay if he could sentance a sex offender to 25 years in jail and he responded "25 in the electric chair might not be enough".  Needless to say he was dismissed.

For those of you not on FB, my darling cat brought me a LIVE mouse in thru the doggie door last night and it's loose somewhere in my house.  It ran under Clay's couch and the cat lost interest and left the building!!  We have 2 traps set and all night I layed awake waiting for the SNAP that never came.  Man I hate rodents!! (and right now I'm not happy with my cat either).

Prayers and blessings for our troops on this special day.  May they all live to be Veteran's someday.
