LOOKING FOR NEW LOCATION TO HOLD MY MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS

Hello.....I am now in search of a meeting place to hold my monthly support group meetings each month. We have pretty much outgrown Starbucks plus with the added stress that Starbucks has put in my life due to the treatment that they gave my oldest son...I truely do not wish to give them anymore business !!! If anyone has any suggestions where we could meet monthly FREE please let me know. I have already checked with the local public librarys and they charge a fee and also are not open on sunday. All suggestions are welcome. My house is too small for the meetings here and also too many dogs live at my home. Thanks and God bless you all !!!

Have you checked into any area Churches?

I know you mentioned Sunday and they may be busy. But lots of them have auxiliary buildings that may have a classroom available.

Just a suggestion.

I did call the church that I attend. I may phone some more local churches tomorrow and see if maybe I might have some luck somewhere else.

What part of town are you in. I know a couple of good "off" brand coffee houses that would be happy for you to have a group meeting. One has some great sugar free options.

Toni....I live in North Richland Hills. We now meet at Starbucks but it is such a hassle getting there at least a hour early to get enough spaces for everyone coming to my SG. That is why I am looking for another location to have it. It would be so nice to just walk in some place and not have to get there so early.

Have you ever been to Roots, near the new library? It is a pretty good size place and they seem to really enjoy having people there.

Also, there is a coffee house on the North end of Rufe Snow and NW Tarrant, I just can't remember the name. They aren't quite as large, but they do have lots of seating. This place also has tons of sugar free options in their drinks.

I don't know how big your group is but both of these places are bigger than Starbucks, so maybe they would work for you?

I also know of a church that might be able to help you out, but I need to check with them first. Just let me know if you don't find anything else.
