How did you do yesterday on your food intake?  I did okay...I did eat one thing off my plan...don't know what I was thinking...put a few FF in my mouth and they didn't even taste good!  I rarely touch them and know they don't taste good...I did chunk the rest of the package in the trash.  Here's to better choices today.

Today's plan:
protein coffee
Click drink
either chef salad or taco soup for lunch
pork roast for dinner w/ veggie

What's your plan?

Karla

Hi all.

I'm a new to this board.  I've lurked for a while but never posted before.

My plan for my food today is:
B:   Gladiator protein drink
L:   Crab salad made with low fat mayo and part of a piece of string cheees or yogurt
D:  4 Shrimp 'scampi' and a couple pieces of broccoli

Lots of water in between along with my vitamins.  I am still so new post surgery its all I can do to get 3 small meals in.  Not really needing any snacks in between.

morning,

I'm going to try to convince myself again today that tuna tastes good! lol

Of course I am disappointed that the scale isn't dropping 3 and 4 pounds at a time because I was up so high.  But honestly I am only starting day 2 of really being focused on the detox. I know it can work like before, just a bit slower.

I got my eggs for breakfast. I tried to use egg beaters for scrambling but they looked nasty

Lunch is tuna, cheese and 10 crackers

Snack is - low carb yogurt.

Dinner is crockpot short ribs from the crockpot.

Got to up the water water water.

I can so relate to having to convince yourself that tuna tastes good!

A suggestion:  Buy imported Italian tuna packed in oil from somewhere like Central Market.  I discovered it a few months ago.  It really DOES taste good.  It is on a whole other plane from your normal Chicken of the Sea.  It's more expensive than domestic tuna, but it's still relatively cheap, lean protein, and I don't dread eating it or feel the need to drown it in mayonnaise.

LOL...I don't normally check this post, but was looking for the iron-related question....so checked here tonight.  At first I was thinking "wow, I forgot how differently I ate newly post-op"...then I got to your post...."now that's more like how I eat", a little protein washed down with candy...LOL  Today's plan looks much better...keep up the good work, I know you can do it!

Ok I didn't post, and didn't plan today and what do you think happened?  I went way off track.  Sesame sticks for breakfast was not the best choice!  Will get with it tomorrow and I will figure out a way to plan and execute better on off schedule days!
