I'm a new to this board. I've lurked for a while but never posted before.
My plan for my food today is:
B: Gladiator protein drink
L: Crab salad made with low fat mayo and part of a piece of string cheees or yogurt
D: 4 Shrimp 'scampi' and a couple pieces of broccoli
Lots of water in between along with my vitamins. I am still so new post surgery its all I can do to get 3 small meals in. Not really needing any snacks in between.
todays plan is
3 shakes
6 waters
eating complex carb and resonbly lowfat protien for meals and munchies
I have all of the below so no excuses for eating crap
beans
fall pumpkin saug soup
left over lowfat stogonoff with ww pasta
garden burgers
salmon burgers
more shrimp
cheese
eggs
I plan to get gum while I am walmart this morning and will start chewing it when I cook to keep from sampling - I do it with out thinking grr
I know what I need to do - I have to choose to take care of me or I choose to fail
I'm going to try to convince myself again today that tuna tastes good! lol
Of course I am disappointed that the scale isn't dropping 3 and 4 pounds at a time because I was up so high. But honestly I am only starting day 2 of really being focused on the detox. I know it can work like before, just a bit slower.
I got my eggs for breakfast. I tried to use egg beaters for scrambling but they looked nasty
Lunch is tuna, cheese and 10 crackers
Snack is - low carb yogurt.
Dinner is crockpot short ribs from the crockpot.
Got to up the water water water.

forgiveness is giving up the hope that the past could be any different
A suggestion: Buy imported Italian tuna packed in oil from somewhere like Central Market. I discovered it a few months ago. It really DOES taste good. It is on a whole other plane from your normal Chicken of the Sea. It's more expensive than domestic tuna, but it's still relatively cheap, lean protein, and I don't dread eating it or feel the need to drown it in mayonnaise.
I wasn't good at all yesterday.
Breakfast: 2 pieces of french bread with butter
Lunch: protein drink
Snack: pretzels
Dinner: spaghetti, one slice of bread/butter.
Snacks: halloween candy.
Today's plan:
Breakfast: protein drink
Lunch: ham/cheese
Dinner: grilled shrimp/scallops with coleslaw.
Scale: up 1.5 lb from my all time low.
