Good evening all.  Not so good really.  Been jumping through hoops trying to get money together for a major car repair, while not jeopardizing our vacation.  Not sure it's gonna work yet.  Darn, I need the time out of here.

Macon is doing fine in the house so far.  We will go a couple of more days before making a final decision, but right now it looks like he is staying.

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Hi George;

I was trying to post to you last night when I fell asleep with my laptop on my legs. When I woke up and read it, it didn't make any sense and I was too tired to try to start over so I just went to bed.

I still haven't found my stride. The commute is getting a little better because I've been working later. I still haven't figured out a good time to go in in the mornings to minimize my travel time. Right now, I just feel like I'm working and sleeping.

I had a great and productive day today. I've rewritten all of our marketing collateral and been working on the strategy for a new product launch. It was supposed to launch in January, but there's a reason to release it next week if we can pull it together in time. We've got a go/no-go meeting on Thursday afternoon to decide. If it's go, I'm in San Antonio next Wednesday to launch it publicly.

That's about it for me. Sorry to hear about the need for a car repair. We still haven't gotten Michael's car in from the accident we had two weeks ago. He needs to call that lady's insurance and find out where he can take it up here for repair.

I'll try to stay awake for a bit. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer

I figured you found out working is harder than looking for a job, even though you worked real hard at finding one.

Good luck with your meeting.  I am sure you will be an asset for them regardless of their decision.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Hey George...
Went to a benefit dinner for Harrison (the boy on the tennis team who needs a new heart) tonight.  OMG...they had double the expected turnout!!!  It was so nice to see people come up and hand them a $50 bill and said, "here, we just wanted to donate"!  Dinner was $10 a plate so we bought five and donated the same.  While we were waiting in line for almost an hour and a half (it was sooo worth it though) one of the ladies grabbed the microphone and said Harrison was out of surgery after having the defibrillator implanted (a temporary solution) and they were closing him up as of then but so far all looked good for that part.  How scary.  The boy is only 16.  Just breaks my heart that anyone has to go through that, but a kid..geez.  They had family members and close friends taking still pics and video so they can show him how crazy it was there.

No phone yet....I'm still holding out.  She'll figure out it will be detremental to her by hiding it because one of these times she will have forgotten something and will try calling me to have dear ol' mom come to the rescue and bring it.  Wellllll, if "dear ol' mom" cannot be contacted because SOMEONE hid my phone, maybe she'll cough it up.  The possibilities are ENDLESS of where she could have hidden it.  Just don't understand her thought process.  I know she's done this before with her sister's things so it is TOTALLY within her capability to do so.  I swear...(shaking my head).  No usage on it so that's why I say she has hidden it.  Now it is dead so it wouldn't matter.  If I find it, it will only be by stumbling upon it!  V is so mad because she really thinks her older sister snatched it too.  WAY too many things Heather has said which raises suspicion!!!

Ok, gotta start on lunches...

I wonder if she was expecting someone to call you and was trying to intercept the call.

Nope, I doubt it.  She did this once to Sarah when she was like 2 yrs. old.  Sarah doesn't have a favorite teddy bear, but rather her favorite moo-moo cow she holds onto.  Heather was pissed at her one time and purposely HID it.  I literally TORE this house apart.  I knew it hadn't left the house because when the kids were growing up, any favorite huggables like that were required to stay at home.  If they stayed at home, we never had to worry that they were lost outside the house.  True, but if your older sister hides it....  Then, one time V was trying to find her Nintendo DS again, we tore the house up trying to find it.  Finally a few days later it was found, but only because I stumbled on it.  Both times she adamantly denies it, of course!!!  Heather has made several odd comments about the phone - so much so that for me, it's a dead giveaway.  She said to V - "hahaha, wouldn't it be funny if you or I had it"?  V was like, "no, not at all"!!!  I really don't know what she was trying to accomplish unless she did it as a "joke" then after it went too far, she now doesn't know how to get it back to how it was beforehand.  I know for her, if she could be the "hero" and find it, she laps that kind of stuff up big time.  She also out of the blue tells V, "if I find it, I'll give you half the reward".  Yeah, like when would a kid willingly share moohla???  NEVER!!!! Just frustrating!!!!  I swear I have looked at everything 2-3 times over!!!!!

Like you said, the joke may have gone too far and her only way out was to throw it away.

I doubt she'd go that far, but, knowing her, she could easily put it somewhere that I have looked already, then cover it up with paper or whatever so then if it is discovered, no one can pin it on her!

Oh, no Phyllis....this is my 16 yr. old who I am quite certain has snatched MY phone to get back at me...for what I don't know though!!!  No arguments as of late...just being a turd I guess.  When asked if she has it, I just get, "no, why would I do that"?  Hmm, I don't know, just to be a butthead is all.  Reason I think it is her...she has all but given herself away with some of her comments.  Things like "wouldn't it be funny if you or I had it" (she asked her sister that), or when I said the phone would ring if called, the response was, "are you sure the ringer is on or is it on silence"?  Only time I silence my phone is church or docs office and she KNOWS that!  When I threw a $50 "bounty" on it, she told the middle daughter, "if I find it, we'll split the money".  After hearing that, I know she knows where it is/where it is stashed because why would she just willingly want to split $50 with her sister?!?  If she found it why wouldn't she want the entire amount???  Just too fishy.  Plus, the phone has not been used.  It's dead by now so just needs charging.  I hid my charger so she couldn't go charge it up.  The phone has not been used since the voice mail was checked Saturday night at like 10:30 PM.  If someone picked it up and wanted it, why wouldn't they have used it by now and oddly...of all the things they could do with it they checked my voicemail??  Too wierd!!!  Oh well, like I say, it will come back to bite HER because when she really needs me for something and can't get me because I didn't have my phone, oddly enough, the phone just may show up so SHE is not inconvenienced again!
