Way way OT: Teenager looking for odd jobs

I know this is way off topic, but I only brought it up because many of you know my daughter, Katelyn.  She's trying to earn money for a school trip in April.  The trip is optional, so she's having to pay her own way.  She's looking for some work to help cover the costs.  She has a job lined up starting in January but can't start until then becuase they can't hire her until she turns 16 on Dec. 30th.  The first payment is due December 1st, so she's very motivated. :-)

Any of you that know her already know that she's a very hard worker and would do a great job at anything you ask of her....yard work (no mowing, she doesn't know how), house work (light or deep cleaning, very experienced at this), babysitting (even more experienced at this), or extra help for the holidays...serving for parties, cleanup, putting up the christmas tree and decorating, etc.

Oh I wish we lived closer, I would love to have someone come and help me clean my house from top to bottom, before I have my surgery in 3 weeks....

 Hi.  I'm in the same boat as your daughter in looking for little jobs.  The catering/serving at parties sounds like a great idea for a teen and it won't take up too much time or interfere with school.  You mentioned Christmas and some stores hire wrappers (bookstores, department stores).  You can tell I been looking everywhere.  Hope she finds a little job soon.

I am most certain we can find something for her to do. I don't have to twist Bryan's arm too hard to get him to take me out for date night. lol. I'll get with you.

I wish I had the disposable income right now to have her over to help.  HMMM..... our youth group at church is doing a rent a youth right now.  Are there any older couples in your area that need that type of assistance with Holiday decorating?  That's who they are focusing on.  Even raking leaves, maybe she can go door to door with a rake and offer to rake and bag.  hmmm..... I'll try to think of some ideas.
