Good morning Train Riders!!!  Ok for those of you not on FB, I want to share my moment with you. Yesterday I flew for the first time in 6 years.  I did NOT need a seat belt extender, and the silly tray table went all the way down without touching me!!!  OMG, I nearly started crying.  That makes me realize that I'm almost "normal" whatever that is.  It really made me think about my perception of myself.  Somewhere in my head I'm still picturing myself as huge, and I'm not so that's something I need to really work on. 

OK, so I'm in GA with Danni, WOOOHOOO!  Having a blast doing whatever we want, running around, chit chatting and just spending time together. Fixing to have breakfast and head off to watch Danuel in a parade.  Maybe getting pedis later, as I am in desperate need of one.  Enjoying every minute and knowing it's going to fly by way too fast.

I'm up, I'm showered and ALMOST ready to go.  I swear these road trips make me feel like a kid at Christmas.  Nuthing like "girl time".  Just have to blowdry the hair and throw on some clothes and I'm off to meet the girls.  Would of been nice if our driver got a little sleep last night but we'll be fine, lol.

Hope everyone has a super fun weekend like I know WE will... I'm sure we'll be posting pics when we get back.

YAY! Sooo happy you're having fun Danni and Debbi! And Auntie's allllllllways get excited squeals before "oh hey, mom" Danni. LOL! I'm still so excited and proud about the seat belt and tray Deb - it's an awesome feeling isn't it?! GO YOU!!!! You have to start realizing how itty bitty you are!!!

Looking forward to IKEA this morning. I'm thinking about bringing Rhi so she can get a change of scenery and play for a little bit and have breakfast with us. She's really attached to me lately so I know she'd love to come with. Heck - I'm really attached to her too so it's a win/win.

Ms. Alissa, you are simply amazing! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your e-mail last night. I haven't had time to read it all but after skimming I'm getting the feeling I'm pretty much screwed. LOL. I'm going to set some time aside today to read it thoroughly and make notes on it. Thank you for your assistance - you are so very special! Thank you!

Nice lazy weekend here. Going to my parents fifth wheeler tonight for a campfire. They're situated at a campgound on Lake Lewisvile in this beautiful penninsula surrounded by the lake so it's simple lovely to be around. My mom had to go home for a bit (stress was really working her over PLUS they changed her RA meds and she's in a middle of a flair up - BOO!) so my dad is here and pretty lonely, although he'd never say it. He loves taking care of Rhi when we're in the hospital but it's not all about just babysitting when we're not around - we can hang out for fun too (although he would never admit he likes that either - lol).

Good morning.  I'm so excited and hopefully prepared to be invaded by some of my WLS sisters today!  Gina R, Liz, Que, Steph, Becky, Donna and Paige will be here later today to have a slumber party and go to my costume party for my 50th birthday (2 weeks ago) at my sisters house.  There will probably be 80 to 100 people there.  I counted a good 80 that I was pretty sure were coming, plus a lot I didn't know would show or not.  Thank heavens my sister is a great hostess and has a big enough house set up for that kind of stuff. 

There will be eating, dancing, and visiting plus enjoying the costumes.  I'm going to be a lady pirate.  Lots of family have come in for it so I'll be glad to see them.  I'm sure my nieces will want a "dance off" at some pt.  I usually dance but they're too good to be in a contest with them.  We tell the one that is a jr. in high school we should get her a pole!
(not that what she does is inappropriate, just a great dancer)

I have made poppyseed chicken casserole, layered salad, mostly sf pumpkin cake w/ sf cream cheese frosting, mostly sf ooey gooey almond cake, buffalo dip and spinach dip for my peeps.

We'll have gals sleeping all over the place.  Ben's spending the night at my sisters after the party.  He said he's not staying in the house...too many women.  My husband changed job locations this week and most likely won't even get to come in for the party.  It will be great if he gets off early enough to make it in, but will have to go back tonight because he has to work tomorrow.

I wish I hadn't read this, I'm crying I SO want to be with my peeps today.  It's been a rough week or two at work and I guess the fact that I'm having surgery in less than two weeks, even though I know I need it has left me feeling really emotional.

Good Morning OH Family!

Lots of wonderful things going on with our OH Family. Makes my heart happy that Debbi got to go visit Danni, and I'm jealous and happy that our girls are going to help our Karla celebrate being "Fabulous at 50" Our Jennifer has a wonderful job and has moved closer. I haven't heard about the new position yet. The person that did the interview is on vacation for a few days. But I got another call for an interview on Thurs for another position that would be great also. Had a wonderful time yesterday, my former co-worker from St Paul was down here on business and met me at the casino gave her a tour, had Starbucks and got caught up on the latest. Makes me glad that I did get laid off and now have a job that has a lot less stress. Well I better get a few things done and start getting ready for work. We were really busy last night Alan Jackson was there. Prayers for our Jodie that her job search is short and sweet. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
