Thankful Thursday WLS Express
Good morning all,
I am thankful that all my bloodwork came back normal. Even the liver enzymes that were extremely elevated on October 21st are now back in normal range. The doc has no idea what had them elevated and will just monitor like normal. My bloodsugars are within a tolerable range and life is good there.
Still without a job which is depressing coming into the holidays. It's really hard sitting here every day marketing your wares and getting little to no response. I try really hard to keep my head up. I'm also trying to stay positive for my brother. His wife left him and I am his rock right now. We chat every day and he is having a very hard time. Some days I just want to crawl into a ball but I know that can't happen. We have to keep plugging away at this.
Saying prayers for all of you. Have a great day and enjoy the nice weather while we have it. You have to make the time cuz noone else will. You are all loved.
I am testing my student today. He is working on his Reading TAKs benchmark. Since it is reading I am not allowed to read to him, but he is in a small group or individual setting for assessment so he gets to be with me.
I have been flipping through catalogues all morning and have everyone's Christmas presents picked out..lol I guess it's better than falling asleep. I'm not tired just bored! lol
Last night we went and looked at a Ford Excursion with a diesel engine. It's much different than driving the Mustang but I really liked it. It's plenty big enough to haul all of us and it can easily pull the horse trailer with all of the horses if need be. We are waiting on the dealership to see if they will come down any, and then we want to see what they did to it mechanically when they got it. Dirk's BIL will take a look at it for us tonite if everything is still a go. He's a diesel mechanic (amongst other things). I may be the proud owner of a BUS tonite. I will give my Mustang to Chase whenever we get a new car. Chase's dad has said that he doesn't need a car. I guess at 19 you are supposed to wear roller skates or something???.... This summer we plan on getting Kaylee a truck too. Addison turns 15 in December so we have that to look forward to as well.
Hope everyone has an amazing day!
Love you guys!
Tracey

Good Morning OH Family!
I'm thankful for so many things, but this morning I'm thankful for my OH family that loves me just the way I am. I'm also thankful that I have a job that I love and look forward to going to. I haven't heard if I got the other position yet, should know by the end of the day. I'm not stressing about it, I will get something fun. Can't believe how beautiful the weather is! Love it! Rick's foot is getting better, they are going to do the skin graft in two weeks. Wish I was going with the "girls" to Karla's party but can't take off work right now with all the changes. Well better drink another cup of coffee and get a few things done before I go to work. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Continued prayers for our Jenny's Eric and safe travels for Michelle as they embark on their new adventure. I bet the leaves are going to be beautiful on the drive.
Your loved!

"Livin' Large, But Not Morbidly Obese!"
I'm thankful that it's Thursday. One more day left in the work week, then off to our little slice of heaven for the weekend.
A little less thankful for an invite I received from HR this morning for a 15 minute meeting with our market leader "to discuss your career" ... no more, no less. Would that be boosting my career or ending my career? One would think they might provide a little more detail if it was on the boosting side of things, so I'm feeling a little overwhelmed at the thought of possibly getting the pink slip tomorrow. But it is what it is and there's not a damn thing I can do about it. Going to go through my day as normal.
Found out a dear friend is coming into town this weekend for the NASCAR race. Of course, they will be arriving just in time for us to be leaving for the weekend. I think they get in late this afternoon / early evening. I'm hoping we can meet for a short time to catch up and I really want to meet his wife. I never thought he'd get married and I have to meet this woman who settled him down! LOL
King's feeling better .... life is good.
Gotta get back to the grindstone while it's here.
I am thankful for a wonderfully supportive life partner in Clint. He is simply amazing. I'm thankful I'm still employed (even tho I'm not overly crazy about my job).
I'm about to go fix dinner. Turkey chilli tonite. No crackers for me tho.
I'm thankful I'm finally on a semblance of a 'real' diet too.
