Thankful Thursday WLS Express

Good Morning Alissa and My TMB Family,

Hey from Nashville TN.  Been a wonderful trip so far.  Still has not sunk in that I am not coming back to Texas but I suppose once we finally get to Dover and see our house it will.  Had a great day in Hot Springs, and learned lots of interesting things about taking a bath.  Never knew it was such a long process.  We chose not to do that.  Kind of strange if you cant do it together and they dont allow that.  Anyway today will be filled with the Grand Ole Opry..the old one and the new one I guess.  Did not know they had two.  I will take pictures and as soon as we get setteled will post them.  Feel like my eating is ok.  Trying really hard not to snack to much but its hard when you are in a car for 8 hours with nothing much else to do.  I am keepng up on the vitamins.  We did alot of walking in Hot Springs and I am sure today will be a day full of it too.  Granted its not a fast vigerous walk but at least it is a walk.  Ok family is starting to stir and alsmost time for Continental breakfast.  Prayers for all in need today especially Viv and her family, and Jenny and Eric.  Have a blessed day.  Love you guys.  Michelle

My parents live outside of memphis TN so one year the kids and I met them in Hot Springs. We all decided to do the bath experience. I felt kind of awkward having someone draw my water, help me in the tub while I was naked, loofah my back while I sat there naked and then help me out of the tub. Kaylee was about 12 so she wasn't too pleased. Chase, my nudist, said he felt weird as well. I don't think I'd do it again, but I would visit Hot Springs.

We went to Hot Springs when Chris was 2 and I did the bath house thing- it was really weird as you said. And the needle spraying shower hurt me! I've got sensitive skin though.

I'm thankful today because my BFF is coming in from New Mexico this afternoon (it's her birthday). Tomorrow we're driving to Austin to catch a Los Lonely Boys concert and spend the night.  I haven't had an adventure in so long!

Good morning.  I have a busy day at the high school all day with 7 ARD meetings.  Yuck...but has to be done.  Shopping at Walmart after that then home for a few more chores.  I'm taking tomorrow off of work to de-stress before the weekend.

Karen...that's the pits that they continued you until Dec.  Maybe it will turn out for the best w/ patience.

Patience is not one of my virtues! LOL  BUT!!!! If we get the kids back, then it will have been well worth the wait, stress, time I've committed to it!

I am thankful for OH and all of you, my chosen family!!!

Quick fly by - lots going on at work and with the Spring Wedding for DD#1.  The showers have started already; the in-laws 2 B are having on in S.A. this weekend.  It's going to be a fun but tiring weekend.

Just a little over a month until I board the Carnival Dream in Port Canaveral FL!!!!  I can't wait - a week on board a cruise ship with nuttin to do but vegetate!!!!

Good morning to all! I am thankful today for my WLS and the good things that it has brought to me this year. My health issues that are being resolved & my wonderful friends that I have met here thru this site. I am hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year for my family(parents, bros and kids and their kids along with my own) which I have not ever done but now that I am able to do things because of my back issues being pratically resolved I can now do all the work involved with that!
Prayer going out today for everyone! Special prayers for Eric and Jenny and Viv and her situation...I would like to ask a request of my own: please remember my Mother-she has a torn ligament in her knee and sees a specialist on Monday. Thank you! I love you all! Annette, too

Good Morning

Well another long day at work.  Working from 7 in the morning until midnight is starting to ware on me.  But hey I am one of the lucky ones.  I have a job to I am thankful.  I am also thankful for all of you.  Welcoming me in to this group has ment allot to me.  I may be quiet and shy at first but once you get to know me that changes.

I am getting ready for the holidays.  Just don't know what to get people for Christmas.  I love the holidays.  I am also looking forward to the TMB Christmas Party.  I am going to post soon.  I would like to have it the 5th of December.  If somebody else is planning one email me and we can cordinate one together maybe.

Good Morning everyone........

Gonna be a good day - I know.............but long............we've got 3 girls out today and I'm suppose to train someone on one of my tasks thismorning....................eventually - they are hoping to free up about 2-3 hours of things off of my desk so that I can create capacity to do other things.....special projects.......etc..........hmmmmmmmmmmmm   ?? 

I didn't get in today until about 750am  - this morning.....usually I'm here at 7-730.......but just couldn't make the body move............I wanted to be lazy and sit outside...........it's just beautiful weather around here lately....................LOVE IT !!        LOVE THE SUNSHINE !!


I'm Thankfule - that it is has finally quit raining for a few days.........I was sick of the gray, coudy gloomy skies................
