LOVE! that song.  Ozzy was the first concert I ever went to.  Back almost 25 years ago when he was still 'scary' and certainly way before he was cool for being on "The Osbournes".

Thanks for the smile this morning.

Wow!  Never knew the words to that song!  Interesting!

We took Therese out for her birthday dinnner and ate Chinese.  When we got back, we started watching the last of The West Wing that we had recorded so it was 11:30 pm when I looked up!  Dang!  Ok for T, she can sleep in as she has no school today, but I still had to get up at 5 AM!!  Sheesh!  Going to try to not do that again!  I don't like waking up tired!

I put in for bids at the Oaks Branch and Lake Worth Branches for clerk jobs.  I'm praying that I get an interview at the NRC.  Still waiting to hear from the Air Force about the job in Barksdale.  I know my application made it to the selecting official, but they don't HAVE to schedule interviews. They may not anytime soon either because of what happened last night at Killeen. But then again, they need someone to talk to the press for them, so they may!  You never know with the government.

Well, not much to say today (yeah, right! LOL)  Better get into the shower and off to work!  Have a great day!  Love ya!

good morning TMB it's a wonderful day - it's friday!!! I haven't looked forward to a weekend in a while so I am doubly glad I can this weekend. and I will see my sister by choice Debbi in about 4 and a half hours

sitting here with a very sick little girl in my lap still - there are times I love the military health system and times I don't - ended up in the ER Wed night with Rach - she has pnemonia (b/cTim is deployed - it's some unwritten rule I don't know about evedetally that our kids must be sick when Tim is gone) saw a great doc - no bedside manner what so ever LOL but he took REALLY good care of Rach, we got seen fast, xrays and breathing treatments asap, all kinds of stuff there and a bag full of meds for at home - went to her follow up and saw Dr @sshole who stated she wasn't weezing (gee ya think 5 breathing treatments in 12 hours did ANYTHING)  so it must just be alergys - clean my house and get rid of the cats for 2 weeks and see if she was better %^%^@^@^!%^%*#@%$@$%^ was my mental response   - I just said thank you and LEFT
ok done ranting now - back to the rest of life

I got my first graded paper back 24 out of possible 24 on it I am accually enjoying school and it is kinda scary b/c it is easyer than I thought it would be - keep waiting for it to get hard LOL

my wieght is almost back to what it was the week before Tim left - 6 pounds up the day he left and all but one of those is gone - my eating has sucked this week but hey it's life I am getting protien and water and burger king - those are the 3 main things I need right even getting my vits in every day

ok you all have a great day - I plan on it  - and remember

YOU had your surgery to be ........HEALTHY..........do what YOU need to to be healthy ..........

Dr. @sshole - LOVE IT!

Rhi didn't wheeze once when she had pneumonia. She didn't do anything but get a fever. Trust me - I was FLOORED when I took her to the doc and they said she had it.

Dr. @hole needs to get his head out of his @hole.

55 minutes left in this work week for me.  Ready to go home.  Anxious about the possibility of the new greyhound.  I explained it in the NW thread.  Hope it all comes about.

Cut hours on my workers at the part time job.  Had to.  They all accepted it pretty well after considering the alternative might be closing the doors.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Good morning all!

Woke up this morning after having many many BIZARRE dreams last night.  After I've been awake for about 3 to 5 minutes they all start to drift away and I can never remember...but they were way weird.

Tomorrow I'm of to Oklahoma for the day.  It will be a fun time.  We are getting up super early as we have to be in Duncan by 9:30 or 10am but it will be worth it to sleep in my own bed tonight.  We'be been traveling SO much over the last 10 months that I can't express how great my own bed and not a cabin bed, cot, air mattress or hotel bed will feel.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe weekend.  Forgive my lack of frivolity for the moment but please keep those people affected by the Ft. Hood tragedy in your thoughts and prayers.

Good Morning, Who is that cute little blonde chick running the train??   Oh that is my hunting buddy..
I did get about 4 hours of sleep last night. That is more than I have gotten in the last 3 days. Like Gina said once "Old demons coming back to us and haunt us" Feeling anxiety, sadness, panic attacks, can't breathe. etc..  Sounds like a commercial. But, if you have ever had them, you know what I am talking about. I really really don't want to go back on some kind of med. I only take one med. right now. Birth Control! I hope it blows over. Thanks to those friends that lend me their ear when I am my lowest point. Those are called forever true friends. Not fair weather friends. Love yall..

Yes, it is finally here. Opening weekend. Woo Hoo. We can't leave as early as Jodie  & King. But, we will get out there. If you have never been and wondering why we would set out side for hours on end hoping to see glimpse of a animal, you have to realize it is not about the kill. It  is about nature, being outside, bonding etc. It is where I am in my serene state.

My prayers go out to Ft Hood and all involved. I just don't get it.
Have a good one.

Jodie I expect a phone call right after your meeting!!!!

Smile, it increases your face value.

Did I tell you that I had a pet deer as a kid? His name was Charlie and we had to bottle feed him. We lived in a huge 5 bedroom house with wooden floors. The foyer had a huge wrap around staircase. Charlie would hit the front door running and make it to the second floor. He was good at playing Barbies with us. When it was time to let him out though ("aw! Mom! Really!! Can't Charlie stay a little longer?- he only ate PART of my shoe!) one of our dads would have to come home and carry him down the stairs. Charlie was always too afraid of the wood being so slick. Mom used to wax those floors endlessly and they provided hours of entertainment for sliding on. The stairs though were no match for Charlie's hooves and usually MY dad got to be the poor sap carrying a 100lb (or better), four legged, wiggle butt deer down the stairs.

His favorite was MILK! Charlie and I would drink milk on the back steps in the afternoons.

To this day I don't eat deer or goat!

Have fun!

OMG Tracey, that story is so sweet and I can just see your poor Dad struggling with Charlie.  However Jodie and Kathy can almost taste dinner...

Good morning.  Prayers for all the Ft. Hood shooting victims and their families.

I am off today.  Fixing to start cooking.  I have to have blood drawn around 8:30 when my pcp's office opens from going to my WLS surgeon 2 weeks ago.  I kept forgetting to go so will take care of today.  I'm just drinking lots of water until I go so it will be a fasting blood draw.

Regular housework and a little laundry to do.  I hope to be done when Ben gets home from A & M late this afternoon.

I'm ready to see a few peeps tomorrow!

Prayers for all who need them.

Jodie and Kathy B. have a great time hunting.  I've been there and done that...I'm too ADHD to sit in a deer blind but Ben and Ross love to do it as well as most of the rest of my family.  My birthday party may be a little bloody if my BIL kills one in the morning and has to process it before my party tomorrow night!

Have a great Friday.
