WLS Express FRIDAY EDITION

It's the Friday Weight Loss Express and look out 'cuz I'm taking over the buttons.

It's all about fun and frivolity for the weekend! 

Nope  -  you're not seeing things, it's me at the front of the train today.  I know better than to get up if I wake up before the alarm.  Once I'm up, I'm up!

I have a meeting with HR and the Advisory Market Leader for North Texas today.  I'm going in prepared for the worst, but hoping for the best.  Our leadership team has made several hints lately at increasing revenue to avoid reducing staff - and bless their hearts, they even gave up their annual bonus checks to help save jobs!  It is what it is and I can't change it - think about me around 9:30am!

Now for the fun and frivolity part - it's opening weekend for deer season!!  I know there are only a few on the board who hunt or have spouses that hunt.  It's just so damn peaceful to sit out in the middle of nowhere and listen to the birds and watch the deer, squirrels and the occasional little fox that drops by.  We're planning on heading out around 1pm, but our plans never seem to come to fruition when it comes to heading out of town early!  No particular reason to get there early tonight other than hit up WalMart for the weekend supplies and beat the damn traffic out of Arlington, through Ft. Worth and Weatherford. 

It's also NASCAR weekend - wish we could be in both places or Bruton Smith needs to change the date for the fall race at TMS.  Oh well, April will be here soon enough!

All you girls headed to Karla's birthday bash have a safe trip and a great time.  Lots of pictures will be expected.

Bender - phones will be on silence, so watch your message indicator light - you know we can't sit in deer blinds without texting!  LOL

Karen - you might want to consider Ozzy's CRAZY TRAIN for today's music since I'm driving - it's likely to be very fitting!

Texas deer season weekend opens later than ours here in Louisiana.  I just enjoyed my first batch of backstrap for the season on Wednesday...yummy.

Good FRIDAY Morning TRAIN !!!!

WOOOOHOOOO for Fridays!!!!  I'm so ready for the weekend... my daughter's baby shower (hmmm trying to remember if I told all ya'll that she's expecting??) is next weekend, so I guess that means I've got to do some shopping this weekend, LOL  She wants and rocking chair, not a glider, not one with a woven seat like they've got at the Cracker Barrel, no, she's got her heart set on a $300+ one she found at Furniture Basics... I'm still debating if I'm going to break down and get it for her or not.... LOL  Wrote a book, dang!

Prayers are going out to all that need them!

Here's something slow to ease us on into the weekend, it's Bread's Diary.....

I am happy it is the weekend.  I don't have anything major planned other than to catch up on  house cleaning and to stay on track due to a recent small weight gain.  There is an airplane/car show that I may take my son to see.  Have a great weekend everyone!
