Im so ready to have my surgery!!! its only a month away, but I think I could handle the things life throws at me a little better if I wasnt so heavy.......

I went yesterday for my first ever mammogram....Im 5'1", the tech kept raising the table with every adjustment and I was tip-toeing to keep from ripping the girls right off the slab.......I knew there was gonna be some squeezing, so I expected that......i didnt know that mine were so huge she had to take two shots.........and she adjusted that table up again....now im feeling like a ballerina hippo.....geez...

I think I picked up a "bug" while I was there, I feel horrible today, my head hurts like its in the mammo machine....like a vise.......my ears hurt, even my neck hurts.....i think i may have a fever, low grade 99.5......yuck.......im so sleepy, but i cant go to sleep because my hubby came home from work sick and he's in bed.......

My back is killing me, I was told I had scoliosis, curvature of the spine, mine isnt curving, it is twisting, so all my vertebral bodies are sideways....epidurals are not my friend....ive had two so my back aches alot....im thinking that will get better after WLS..

Not everything in my world is terrible today....my 6 and 9 year old boys feel wonderful....they are running and screaming and playing ever so loudly.......gotta love it.....

I would rather it be me,  than,  them sick....that is heartbreaking to me to see them sick....however they have not learned that emotion yet....lol

Tara,

I am so ready for you to have your surgery.

I know the anticipation is killing you.

You can handle whatever life throws at you cause you are a strong woman.

This I know.

I hate mammograms.

I always feel so violated afterward and my boobs feel like a piece of playdo, but it has to be done.

Awwww.. sweetie I am so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well.

Make sure that you take care of you and stay on top of whatever it is and nip it in the bud so you can be well before surgery.

I also have scoliosis, but the curvature in my spine is minimal.

Sorry that yours is twisting.

Good news is that my did get better after WLS.

Your kids are not ill so that is a plus.

Keep your head up and get well soon.

I hope you have an absolutely fabulous day.

Hugs.

Tara,

I update, but I do it all on my blog only now.

You should be able to see my updates when you go to your My OH page since you are on my friends list.

Do you have to do a two week pre op diet?

If so when do you start.

Hell yay it is your turn this time.

We are all rooting for you.

I have been out and about, but still around.

Hugs.
