Gals it is tough to stick to the plan right now.  Busy times/stressful times/holidays just make it harder.  I have done fairly well.  Not totally faithful, but able to maintain.   That's  better I figure than packin' it on, which I sure have done before!  I know if our minds aren't ready to get strict it's hard to comply totally.

Today's plan:
lots of liquids
protein coffe...clumped...was so delicious...NOT
Atkins shake or McD iced vanilla sf coffee
Chef salad ready for lunch w/ lite Caesar
Baked tilapia for dinner.  Never ate Monday...made taco soup instead
may have part of sausage biscuit...not sure yet

What's your plan?

Good Morning Karla & NBN Crew!

I made it through day one of my bad carb detox program.  Once again water is a struggle.  I managed to get down 36 ounces of plain water and two 12 ounce cups of coffee.  I had to attend a grand opening yesterday and there was table full of sweets and I kept saying to myself I can have just one bite but  am happy to report that I was able to resist the temptation of having one bite.

Today's plan:
B-coffee
L-tuna salad
D-salad and baked chicken
Water-48 ounces

karla,

You are so right about sticking to a plan right now.  Never knew I was in such a routine at work with when I eat and what.  Every day with training, my food schedule is different and there are snacks everywhere. I am not normally tempted but this week is tough.  And no time to go out and get more water.. and not as many potty breaks.

then add, not getting home right away and being starvin marvin when I do get home.  Just not a good picture.

I am going to try not to do too much damage until Sunday and then I have two weeks to seriously restrict the junk before my last doctor followup on the 24th.

Okay, time to get after it and limit the damage.  Let's do our best.. that's all we can do.

Ok I'm doing good so far this week, hoping I can keep this momentum up through the week and weekend out of town.  That will be my real challenge.  Here's my plan for today:

Protein shake
Egg beaters with veggies, ham and cheese
Salmon burger & corn
Cottage cheese & salsa
Turkey meatloaf and low carb berry salad

In between I'm still doing my turkey pastrami roll ups and drowning my munchy urges with coffee and water.  I might make some iced tea today too for variety.  Logging my daily food plans in FitDay in the morning really seems to help me stay on track, so I'm going to keep doing that.

Yesterday was a so-so day for me.  I was so busy working I didn't ever really EAT.  I just grabbed something here, a little something there, a freaking cookie on the way back from getting water.  My husband was kind enough to finish off those damn sugar cookies last night.  I refused to buy anymore.  If he wants them, he can buy them and take them to his jobsite trailer.  (Did that sound convincing?  LOL)

Today looks like this:

Breakfast - PB on Graham Cracker ('cuz I ate me last protein bar for dinner last night)
Lunch - One crunchy taco add sour cream
Dinner - That will depend on how Mr. King is feeling
Snack - Got some cheese sticks in the fridge and some nuts around

Working on first 20 ozs of liquid now - this is my struggle zone.  I could drink 200ozs of tea everyday, bu****er, uh not so much.

ETA:  Scale showed me 144.6 this morning - new low!

Apparently being out of town so much lately has really brought back old habits BIG TIME.  The whole time I was at my Mom's I ate junk and it has just continued.  I swear I only ate ONE thing that was on my "Plan" yesterday.  Instead I ate junk and grazed.  Then I went to the stupid store hungry and came home with 1/2 price halloween candy.

I got up this morning with the best of intentions and went to make a protein drink to discover my fridge is broken AGAIN!!  I went ahead and made some after I moved all my food the the spare fridge and freezer so now I'm waiting on it to freeze.

Plan for today:
Breakfast: eventually a protein drink
Lunch: chicken salad on crackers
Dinner: steak and salad

Hey Carla and others,

I had great intentions yesterday and did well until I got home.  Then I started eating almost everything I saw.  left over candy, pie, cookies.  WTH?  I have issues no doubt.

I am doing better today!

Today's plan:

Lots of water
B - protein in coffee
L - soup and SF Jello
D - cabbage stuff
Snacks protein drinks
