Good morning all,
I've been testing my blood sugar for the last couple of days and it's been within normal ranges, especially for a type 2 diabetic. Still waiting for bloodwork results to come back to get the A1C. That's the true showing. I still have days of feeling really blah and aching. So I wouldn't say that my blood sugar is the cause of that. My bloodwork on everything else, all my vits, came back great so I just don't know what's going on. Hopefully the tests will show something so I can get back on track.
Still need those prayers at 1:00 today. I really appreciate it. Saying prayers for all of you. Have a great day everyone.
I'm not testing anyone today so I get to do my actual job and have therapy...yea!!! Tomorrow will be more testing though. I need to get down to the kindergarden hallway and listen to them and make sure everyone sounds fine. I also need to do report cards. I think that of all the things that I have to do that report cards and medicaid billing are the bain of my existance...lol oh well! Working with the kids more than makes up for it.
Onto my SMET..... hmmmm... move around. Sunday Dirk got out of the truck to meet up with his brother-in-law and I jumped over the center console to drive the truck the rest of the way home. I even had to park the horse trailer with the horse (gasp) still inside it. 130 pounds ago I would have had to get out of the vehicle and hoist myself up to the steering wheel. My body would have gotten in the way for having to back up and center the trailer. Now I can jump in and up, scale the truck bed to get out tack, climb up on the horses, jump over center consoles, scale fences- whatever I want really and have no problems.
Prayers for everyone- spoken and unspoken!
Love you guys! (I mean it!)
Tracey

My woohoo is kinda "wild and wacky" yesterday was an interesting day.......went to a meeting at work with the new GM and HR found out they are reorganizing our dept and 41 out of 80 positions are being displaced. Yep I'm one of them. But I'm kinda excited. I met with HR and picked 3 positions that I would like to apply for and while on my way to meet my peeps for coffee they called and wanted to interview me asap. I hope I get the first position. It would mean mon-fri and no holidays. I could actually start socializing with my peeps again. Well I better get in the shower I will still be working my current position until I hear differently. I also got a call from my nephew (Mark's oldest) he and his family are coming for Thanksgiving. I'm so excited. Yall know how I love to have my house full of family and kiddos. Need to get busy cleaning out the office and need to put a bed in there. I hate that I missed the coffee last night, but felt like I better seize the opportunity while I could.
Your loved!
Lynnette
I have a couple of woohoo's even if one' s not for me...Stephanie's BF got a job Monday and has actually worked OT each day this week! YAY!!!! My woohoo is that I realized the capri's I have on are a size Medium!!!!!!!!!
My grandson had his bilirubin levels redrawn Monday and I'm hoping that no news is good news! His big sister has double ear infections though, but they got her on antibiotics.
I have SMET moments on a daily basis! I actually jogged to my Mom's house which is only three houses up freom mine, but still...I jogged and didn't pass out when I got there! I dropped something on my way in this morning and without thinking bent down and picked it up!! I didn't tip over or get winded or anything!! LOL
Hugz and prayers to all that need them. I need them for my brother. He got some bad news from the doc yesterday, doing more tests today as well.

I've been up for hours shopping and reading online but forgot to post. Ebay is killing me. I bought 11 things in the past 2 days. I'd better check my bank balance as paypal is sucking it dry. I bought myself a new camera and a foodsaver. I've been wanting a foodsaver for a long time as I always buy in bulk and "freezer paper" wrap everything.
Let's see... SMET...crossing legs, wrapping a bath towel all the way around and tucking it, not having to "plan my route" in a restaurant, not using handicapped toilets, I could go on and on...
Special prayers for Lynnette that she will find a new position that will allow her to spend more time with us. I'm so looking forward to this weekend. Just have to get thru work the next 2 days.
I woke up this morning to a dead fridge/freezer. Second time in 2 weeks. The appliance dude just left. He thinks it's the electrical outlet cuz he changed it to the lower plug and it started right up. Keeping fingers crossed that it's something simple like that. I'm tired of have melted food.
