PRAYERS NEEDED FOR MY SON AND HIS GF TODAY !!!

Vivian, I am just now seeing this but I am sending prayers your way anyway! Hope the interviews went well! I have gone thru trying to help out grown kids!

Just a few months ago, our son and gf moved in with us and it did not go well!!! He had divorced his wife of 9 years with 2 kids; and moved in with her and then she talks him into quiting his good 70,000.00 a year job and going on the road selling cell phone accessories and sunglasses at flea markets and events because that is what her parents did all her life and her and her former hubby(or whatever he was) did. Of course we begged him not to do it but he did anyway and within 2 months lost practically everything he had including being 2 mos behind on child support . So then he tells us that he is leaving her and wants to start over and so we let him move in and then within days he reconciles with her and of course wants to move her in and did I mention that she has a baby that he thinks is his. WOW! I said a mouthful didn't I ? SO, anyway, they were here about 2 months and we ended up kicking them out and I will spare you those details but it was not pretty! Since then he has been keeping our grand babies away from us unless he needs help picking them up. SO, honey I feel your pain! I will keep you on my prayer list. Didn't really mean to say all that, but have I said how much I love this group?? The more I see and read and get to know: I am so blessed to have my "OH family"! Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday! It is supposed to be sunny in this part of Texas!

Annette.....Hon you are family on the TMB. I hear ya...one of my rules is No smoking in my house. Got up to get a drink at 2:30 this AM....opened the door to the bedroom they are in and BINGO....she was smoking. I hit the roof with her ( 2nd time I have caught her doing that there ) !!! I am at my witts end. Hon you have it worse than I do. I won't tolerate alot more. I may be fighting my hubby over this but tough !!! He WILL get over it. LOL I am already getting pretty fed up with it all and they have been here less than 2 weeks.

Vivian, I know what you mean about these hubbies! Why is it that God really made us the strong ones? Why do we have to be the "enforcers"?? I don't really know except I knew he gave us more brains and inner strength-seems like. But then he also gave us a Mother's love and that is pretty special...anyway, let us know about the job situation. Love ya! Annette, too

Uncertain as now. They applied at restaurants and were told that they would find out sometimes this week after references were checked. I will let everyone know if they get a job. Thanks Laura for asking.
