Prayer Request

If you FB you may have seen my status update yesterday for a prayer request. Yesterday morning my brother-in-law was found in the garage after he attempted suicide. He was rushed to JPS. He is physically stable, but now remains under an involuntary stay till at least Monday when they will then transfer him to a local center. He has 2 girls (25 and 22 years old) who are worried sick about him. He also has 2 brothers, 2 nephews, a neice, a sister-in-law, both parents are living, 17 cousins, 3 aunts, 2 uncles, and i counted at least 12 friends by the calls I rfeceived yeterday. He has reasons to live! Please pray for healing and that he may find peace. He is a christian man with a soft, sensetive heart who is still deeply in love with his ex and i know his heart must be broken, but his life is so much more. I just pray that in time he will find that reason to live through the pain of loss (of his wife and his job). Please pray for him with me. His name is Russ.

I am so so sorry to hear this. I will surely keep him and the family in prayer. In fact, I will call my prayer hotline and they will keep in Unity Prayer for 30 days.

Tawnya......praying for Russ and his family now. Is there anyway that JPS could put him in touch with a councilor to help him through this hard time he is going through. Life really SUCKS sometimes. It sucks here for my family too at the moment. Prayers big time going up for your entitr family !!! Love ya.

Prayers and many hugs to you and all involved. I had a friend of mine from another board whom did this last week. He was successful unfortunately. Suicide is so very sad and leaves us with so many questions unanswered. Please try to keep your chin up. I am saddened that you and the family have to deal with this. Prayers and hugs to you and your family.
