The NIGH****CHMAN - Friday/Saturday 10/30-31
This week I did something I never do. I took off early 3 days in a row, using PTO. Just did not want to be there. I will get over it. I'll be ready for a full week next week.
Jennifer and Michael are approaching the Metroplex as I type. Last I heard (2 hours ago) they were outside of Waco. Hope the move goes smoothly. I know she is anxious to start her new job. Hopefully she will find the same joy my son has found. After losing his job, the one he came upon has been better for him. Not a week goes by that he does not get some positive encouragement from his boss, on up to the owner. He loves being appreciated. Last month they offered him Cowboy tickets if he exceeded their best month ever by 15%. He beat it by about 8%. This month he broke the record big time. Had the original goal of 15% beat yesterday afternoon. The owner called him and said he guesses he can smell the Cowboy tickets. Truth is, he did not know the offer was still on the table. He was just doing it because it was the right thing to do.
Enough babble from me.

Jessica (jes7997) - recovering from surgery on 9/30
July is going through a divorce, requesting prayers for her and her kiddos. We know a divorce is tough, and can be especially tough financially.
Karen the Papaya Queen asks we pray for her son and his GF and their kids. They went to court 10/29 to try and get them back from CPS and it's been a real struggle.
Kim T. had RYGB reversal surgery on 10/23, will probably go home 10/26.
Meggie's mother received her pacemaker and is recovering well. She is waiting to begin her treatment for breast cancer.

Anne (Lalocaweta) - requests prayer that her son is accepted as a transfer student for UT Law School
Gina L. - pray for her daughter Nikki. She is 36 weeks pregnant and was put on bedrest last Friday. She is the breadwinner for the family, as her husband is a stay at home dad.
Jennifer - prayer for the sale of their house.
Kim (tennysonkw) - has taken a short leave of absence from work due to health reasons. It comes at a tough time since her spouse recently lost his job.
Meggie's mother has breast cancer.
Vanessa (ButterflyReborn) asks for prayers. Her polyps have been diagnosed as "abnormal" but not cancerous. More tests forthcoming.
Vivian requests prayer for her sonand his girlfriend. They have completed detox, now comes the tough part. In addition, they were evicted from their apartment and now moved in with Vivian. Prayers for Vivian with the extra stress in her life.
Below is one of God's children that definitely need our prayers. This is one specific cases, we know there are others out there. Remember them too.
Gina J. - Pray for her 6 year old Marina, diagnosed with a terminal illness at age 2.

- As of 11-10-13 I have had weight gain. Not happy about that.

A nice quiet one at my house. Sarah crashed about 8:45 so she was a "non issue" tonight...Heather is watching TV in her room and V is cleaning her room. She let her room "blossom" with clutter so I told her she couldn't go meet up with one of her friends tomorrow unless the room got clean....and, I mean clean, not "stuff everything under the bed so it LOOKS clean, but, CLEAN!"
Tomorrow is soccer pictures. Thankfully our picture time isn't until almost noon. Only bad part there is that means the actual game is late...nearly 4:00. I called the coach about 2 pm this afternoon asking her what she wanted to do for tonight's practice so we bagged it. Too chilly and damp plus the fields were still really soggy. Give them another full day/evening to have the wind blow on them and dry them out a bit. Tomorrow should be a lot nicer and not so chilly. Sorry, hate the cold!!!
Ok, time to go find my tea. Need my caffeine fix. Paul is watching the last bit of Air Force One with Harrison Ford. LOVE that movie!!! I think Schnitzel is snoozin' so the house is definitely winding down for the night!
