Good morning! Its Friday. Man this week has been fun but EXHAUSTING! The consumers have really bonded with each other this week, moreso than any other year that we've done this training. I'm so happy about that. I have 2 older men that yesterday both told me how happy they were that I talked them into coming because they were resistant and now they understand why I felt it was important. That made my day-my week actually! We did leather crafts in the morning-that was fun. Then, off to Bierra Porettis in Arlington-GREAT food- and to the Cowboys stadium where we got a 2 hour tour and the Cowboys were actually on the field practicing! That was really cool. Of course that meant no picture taking of the stadium but that was okay. Everyone had a great time. The pro shop is HUGE. I didn't buy anything given I'm not a big football fan. Actually we didn't have much time-it was 4pm before we were done and we all wanted to get on the road because of traffic. After lunch we had time to kill so we let everyone have 45 minutes to roam around Lincoln Square and I ended up buying a top 70 percent off at Chico's. So I did buy something yesterday! lol.
Chris is trying to sell his cookie dough- we're doing one last push to see if he can sell the 15 boxes needed to win the limo ride. The kids that do get to go out to lunch and ride in a Hummer Limo. He's really excited about that. So, if you need any cookie dough- say for Christmas baking- let us know!
I've done really well food wise this week-something about being incredibly busy and then tired when I get home limits my food intake. Last night was the first night I was actually hungry enough to want a snack after supper. I had my fav-strawberries and cool whip.

What is your plan for Halloween??? We're having our usual block party and we're having a game for the kids to play and we're passing out pencils, coloring books, paddle balls and a little bit of candy. If you are in our area and have kiddos-come on by-the whole street will have candy and booths like ours.

How much is the cookie dough?  I may have to take a couple of boxes.  We love to bake for Christmas!!

Man!  Yesterday I hit the floor running!  Literally!!  I have to be at work by 7:00 and I woke up at 6:46!!!  Needless to say, the whole day was a bust!!  I hate when that happens!! LOL!!

I went to scheme training yesterday and did well, even tho I missed 5 days because of going out of town.  I'm actually ahead of schedule!  I didn't think I could do this, but it's proving to be not as difficult as I initially thought it would be.  I'm grateful for that, and that my memory can withstand the onslaught of so much use right now!!  I just really hope I get the job in In-Plant Support.  The job is a SENIOR qualified and the people who are senior than me don't want to go back to a Level 5.  They just made all clerks Level 6s and they are trying to get their "High 3" for retirement purposes so hopefully they won't bid on it.  Keep your fingers crossed for me that this is the case!!

TGIF, my family!! Hope this finds everyone having a GREAT morning...my drass is agging, but I'm gonna make it out the door, in a few minutes, and make this the best day I possibly can. I'm having a little trouble adjusting to this new antidepressant-it's making me sleepy-but the adjustment period is a normal side effect-and as long as I go to bed by 7PM all is good..lol...My chest condition has been cranked into high gear all week too...so I've been trying to take big honkin' Motrin pills...making pouch mad...CRAP...can't win...

Tonight is my Chris's last home football game (there's an away game next week), so it's Senior parent night-where we go down on the field, with the boys, and get introduced, get a rose, etc. It's that moment you wait 13 years for...wish you had lost another 50 lbs for...wish you were prettier/younger...will be very bittersweet..Chris is the BABY, ya know...all 6'2" of him...He's been playing team football since he was 4 years old, so this is going to be really kinda sad...If you want to see a pic of Chris-look at JACK's thread-Chris and his GF are wearing black tee shirts and "bling"...a big "dollar sign" necklace, I think..

Okay...this rambling isn't getting me dressed, and I have to be at work early-today is my day for "dining room duty" at breakfast-the fun just never ends...

Prayers all around....everyone has NEEDS and WANTS of some type-spoken or otherwise-HE KNOWS...

Are you serious.??? Your baby boy is so proud of you. He will be down there wtih you on that field with pride in his heart!!! He loves you more than anything in the world.
