Today is my ONE YEAR Surgiversary......and I am 4 lb under goal with a 163 lb weight loss. WOO HOO - I made it !!

I can't thank the people on TMB enough for the knowledge, insight, and support of WLS !! It was scary coming into a new group of people but GINA was the shining star that encouraged me to attend RNS!! Then walking in the room to meet Kathy and Tawnya.
I went through the educational process for all the WLS surgeries. Then finally deciding on the best option for me was the DS. Having Kathy Bender be my angel and caring enough to tell me how important support would be for the REST of my life......not just the first couple of months.
Although the surgery has given me a healthier body and many more options - It has also given me an appreciation for those who make the WLS journey with us AND continue to be there!!!

Wow Teri, I didn't realize it's been a year already. I must say when I saw you at the OH Convention in Dallas I was in awe how much you lost and how well you looked.......and I really got to appreciate how TALL you were too.
