Morning All,

I have been debateing on weather or not to post this but I think I need to.  I am scared....it just hit me today when I got on the scale and had put on three pounds that my eating is slowly getting out of controll.  I am so afraid of being on the road for a week and not being able to eat correctly.  I am not eating sweets but eating carbs galore.  Any thoughts as to what I should take in the car for snacks would be great.  Mark and Eric like McDonalds when we travel and I cant do it.  Makes me sick.  They have said we will cut back this trip but still...I am so afraid that I am going to end up being the 230 pounds I was when I started this journey two years ago.  I need some support.  I need some ideas.  I'm just a mixture of a whole bunch emmotions from nervous, stressed to scared.  I know I can count on you guys.  Love you bunches.   Michelle

Thank you Jodi...I like all of that except the almonds but there are plenty of other 100 calorie snack packs.  Will for sure make these a staple for the trip!

Yes there are plenty of 100 Calorie Snacks ----- but not all of them are good ones!  Stick to nuts (or some protein source) ---- step away from the Chex Mix!

Michelle,

Good ideas from Jodi!  The Emerald Almonds are fantastic.

I can really relate to your fear, I've been stress eating myself and unfortunately it's not good choices.  Just don't give up in the fight and work toward making better choices daily.

Thanks Dana.  I am thinking I will get some grapes or something too.  Also I really like the lunchabels that have crackers cheese and a deli meat in them so will take those too.  I dont plan on giving up.  How can I with people like you and Jodie in my corner?

step away from the grapes.. soooo loaded with sugar and the carbs are off the charts.  AND talk about leading to carb cravings...

okay, just my opinion.

Ok Becky thanks for the tips.  The last thing I want is to have to much sugar while we are driving on the highway.  Will stay away from them.

Will you have room for a  little ice chest?

Get some  99% FF hams, smoked/honey turkey...etc.....deli sliced and roll a piece of cheese in there with it and have several of those in baggies for quick snacks......................LUV em !!
What about the Laughing Cow Cheese -  spread that on a piece of thicker sliced ham or turkey and roll it up.................keep those made up for quick grabbies instead of those snackers - 100 cal snackers - chex mix....chip like stuff.........(I know  been there)   Like previuosly said - just because it is only 100 cal doesn't mean that it is a good choice......(I'm preaching to the choir here )))

good LUck !!
