The NIGH****CHMAN - Thursday 10/29

Good evening.  And it is a good one in spite of the weather.  It is a good one despite that I only got 4 hours sleep because the rain came down so hard it woke me up.  Which made me check my backyard fence.  Which had a section disconnect (it is polyurethane or something like that).  Anyway, there I was on four hours sleep outside in the pouring rain, putting my fence together.  Then I had a dental appointment.

But..... what made the day good, is I got my results back from my lab work.  I made sure they sent me a hard copy, with the numbers, not just pass/fail.  IT'S ALL GOOD!!!!  Doc is so happy.  Not as happy as me though.

Special prayers out to Jennifer-*It*-Cruise Director Julie and Mikey as they prepare for the big move to the DFW area.  Hope everyone is okay after the accident.  Last word they were.  Still waiting on word on the car.

Just so you know, you need to TAKE YOUR VITAMINS  SUPPLEMENTS and make sure you get your daily allotment of PROTEIN.

If you are new to the board, this link explains what the NIGHT WATCHMAN is (if you are interested).  Otherwise, just read on, you will probably figure it out anyway.

Thank you George for putting us on your list.....

We made some progress today, but of course they've postponed the important stuff like getting Ms Violet back.... sigh... I guess we really are going to have to take this to jury trial in December....

I'm glad to hear your lab work all came out good, I guess I really should get back with the program and get mine done again.... it's been a while.... lol

Ya'll have a good night at work and try to get some sleep....

There were three things that were within range of what I should be, but on the low side, that I need to get taken care of.  Two of them I can do on my own.  Vitamin D and Potassium.  The third is my White Blood Cell count.  It has risen a little, but is still on the low side.  4.1.   Oncologist says it needs to be over 4, the last time I had it taken it was 3.9 or 4.0.  That may be a bone marrow problem.  Hopefully not.

Evenin' George...
Been kinda under the weather the past couple days with these weather fronts rolling through.  Had a nasty migraine last night that was rough enough I went up to lay on the bed and the next thing I knew it was 6:00 this morning.  Shew...  The brunt of the headache was gone but it was still kinda there, looming in the back of my head.  Of course no one did anything to help themselves out last night...lunches were not done - heck, they didn't even put their ice packs in the freezer so we had fun this morning coming up with other ice packs.  I had started laundry as Heather needed her scrubs for the hospital rounds today but I had gone up before they finished so this morning, they were still wet in the washer.  I looked at them and said, "you all should take a nice long look at what didn't get done and realize how much you all would be in trouble if I weren't here"!  Of course I ended up getting lunches made at 6:30 this morning and even with a looming headache, got her dry scrubs out to the school before she HAD to have them....

I had to meet them back out at the high school at 2:30.  Today was letterman jacket fittings.  That was a fairly fast near $400 spent!  They will be nice though.

Weather sucks outside...if anyone has to be out in it, be careful!

George;

Thanks for the special prayers. The moving truck is loaded and we'll be headed northbound with the first load tomorrow morning. We didn't rent a large enough truck so Michael will be coming back on Saturday to get the rest. Rotten situation to be in...

I took the car to the collision shop and the dealer on Tuesday and they've both said it's safe to drive to Dallas. The insurance claims have been filed and we'll get it fixed once we're up there and things calm down a bit. We're both sore, but I think it's more from packing/moving than the accident.

Last night was our going away party. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad so many people came out to wish us well.

Brown Dog had his surgery today. He ended up needing two teeth pulled instead of just one. He's pretty well drugged out right now with his head resting on my knee. We're all snuggled up on the aerobed together. :)

We're exhausted and know it's going to be a crazy weekend. I can't believe I start my job on Monday. I've been getting emails from my new colleagues all week and am so excited.

Have a great night. I'm crashing shortly. Prayers for all who need them.
Blessings, Jennifer
