Dr.Robert Marvin Houston Web Site?

I just had my preop for my RNY  for Nov.5 today, Dr. Marvin told me to go to dr.marvin.com read my preop/postop instructions. There are umpteen Dr. Marvins so does anyone know the specific correct website?  It's after hours otherwise I'd call them again.Thanks, Miss Jean

I'll look for it and try to post it here.  I had it saved on my brothers computer, but the instructions are the same as the yellow book they hand out on the 1st doctor's visit.  Do you happen to have that one?

I'm having surgery tomorrow morning, but will see if my bro can send me the link tonight.

Thanks , I got www.doctormarvin.com from another friend.  I didn't get a yellow book that I remember. I should have thought of that. I will be out of town when you have surgery, so I wanted to tell you now that I hope everything goes smoothly for you!

Be sure and take your "Before" pictures and don't forget your measurements!  I know this is not your first time around but you are going to have a much different journey and I wish you the best.

Thanks Sarah, I was thinking about you this morning. Will you be back in town for our meeting in Pasaena or Friendswood?  I was wondering if I'll feel well enough to come? I guess I'll have a pain pump for a couple days after I get home so won't be able to drive  if I'm on pain medicine. Have a good trip. Our group is so great!!!!  Miss Jean

I don't know what Dr. Marvin does, but I don't know of anybody else who was sent home with a pain pump - just liquid pain medicine like Loratab.  The pain for me wasn't bad at all - mostly from the gas they blow you up with and you can work that out by walking.  I only took the Loratab at night the first few nights to help me sleep but I could have done without it.  You will do GREAT!
