My insurance said no

I have started looking into weight loss surgery and i am more than a little excited finally I can have a start to getting my health back. I tried my insurance at owrk bcbs of il but they will not cover any weight lose anything. I am really bummed and it does not look like it is going to happen for me . But I am not going to give up maybe just maybe I will get finaning some how. Any one have any ideas. Thankyou so much and congrats to you all...33 year old mom of 4 really wanting her life back.. 

Aww sweetie!  Don't worry, when the time is really right, the right opportunity will present it self.  I tried for 4 years to get the surgery and got turned down time after time.  I finally felt the time was right to look into it again and amazingly got approved in 2 days!!  It was my fourth try.

My insurance booklet and 800 number both said "no obesity surgery".... what they didn't add until after I gave up and went after it on my own and my surgeon's office asked the right way was the rest of the sentence, "unless medically necessary"....

I recommend going to a weight loss seminar that a surgeon in your area puts on, They are professionals at working with insurance companies. LIke the post before said, sometimes the insurane comapny is not telling you anything.
