Good morning Train Riders!  It's a good day and will be a great day, no matter what.  Been working for a while this morning, making some progress on my projects and managing to keep up with most of my work too.  It is annoying having to switch between different VPN (networks) to do different stuff, but I'll manage.  Tonight Jeff has class so I've got to find something to occupy myself other than sitting at the computer or in front of the TV.  Well maybe the TV and doing some cross stitch.

Prayers continuing for everyone as we all seem to be dealing with different struggles and challenges.  Jenny & Eric are never far from my mind, and neither are Danni and Tim.  I pray that God keeps His hands on all of you and you know He is there for you.

Off to work again, have to earn my keep somehow.

Morning everyone,

Seems I am not alone in all the emotional, I so want to run away moods.  I am not so much emotional eating as just feeling empty. When my family drove off Sunday afternoon to Shiner town, I just wanted to run behind and say "take us with you and we will make it somehow".  Just have to find a way to work thru the next few years here and I know they will fly by. Have to learn to appreciate my days with Emm, and, most importantly, our HEALTH. But for the Grace of God..

So far, we are okay at work but we are very early into the training and transition phase of the software changeover. Me, being the responsible one is ALWAYS here, always! Even on days when I need to just stay home and rest.

No real exciting plans for today or even the week. Need to come up with a costume for a gals night costume party in two weeks.  I am hoping that a 'potential with land and cattle' might be there.  Hmm, what to wear! lol

Emm is still worn out, but I got her some 'teen advantage' vitamins and she gave herself a b12 shot last night. I need to make her eat better and protein up. She can't live on jerky and cheese and crackers.

Prayers for Eric, Jenny and all of the Richters. Prayers also for physical, emotional and financial healing for all of us!  Blessings to the rest.  To steal a phrase from one of me bestest - you ARE LOVED.

Morning!  Goodness, what a lot of 'let's get outta here' going on. I hope this streak ends soon and cir****tances right themselves.

Last night, I was contacted by my eBook distributor (Smashwords) about "Operation eBook Drop".  They are asking all of their authors to donate their titles for free to military personnel and are working in conjunction with Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc..  I couldn't sign up fast enough.  I created a coupon code for each book and they sent me a list of military folks in search of reading material to contact.

It's a brand new program with glitches still to be worked out, but the concept is one that I love.  i wi**** every success!!  You can read about it here...

And, if you know of any military people who want to be included, have them email [email protected] to be put on the list.

OED

For me, personally, it feels like a med-high pain day.  Grrr.  But my mental outlook is upbeat (for a nice change).

Take care of yourselves out there!  We're all in this together.

Belle I emailed the gental man in the operation ebook link you posted and asked for the coupon code for Tim - he said it would be great to have other things to read - pretty much any hard books they take get left and passed around and around

thanks

Danni - that's great!  There are only about 180 authors (so far), but the number is growing daily.  I will send you a private message with the coupons to my titles for Tim.  He should receive several emails from authors w/their coupons.  (This should be streamlined in the future, but for now this is how it works...reader to author)

Hello everyone!

I'm not a frequent poster but hoping to get involved with some of the local support groups and meeting some of you all in person.

I'm 2 weeks post op as of yesterday.  I have an appointment today with my surgeon to get released to head back to work.  I feel so tired all the time and I know I have to get better with my protein and vitamins.  I have to work on it, but everyone is telling me 2 weeks out its nomal to not to get everything in.  I'm just trying to focus on doing the best I can.

I hope everyone has a great rest of the day!

Hi there!!!

Welcome to the TX msg board and the TRAIN..... please feel free to post here often!  We have a host of pre-ops and post-ops all with lots of good advice!

Be sure to look for the posts about the upcoming support group meetings each month, there are several different ones all over the metroplex and I know you'd be welcomed with open arms at any and all of them!

Hugs!
