33 pounds to go!!! Yea!
For me, the weight loss has slowed waaaay down as I've neared my goal. Not only is it harder to lose when you have less to lose, I realized I was eating too much food in general and too much sugary fruit in particular. I was starting to give myself permission to eat little pieces of things I knew should be out of my life forever, like sweet pastries. I was grazing on snacks all day at work. In short, I was going back to my old ways. I decided to "reboot" my pouch and my mentality, so I am doing the 5-day pouch test, http://www.5daypouchtest.com/index.html. I'm on Day 5. It has been tough, but I can feel myself getting back to basics and feeling better than ever because I'm doing what is right for my (surgically altered) body. Some TMB veterans told me it worked for them, too. Maybe you could try that if you're really concerned. Best of luck!
Your body is probably in shock over all the sudden weight loss. Since it's only been 4 months since surgery I'm not surprised that you hit a plateau. Shake up what you do. Eat 300 more calories a day for 2-3 days then drop back down. A lot of times, you just have to change up what you're doing. Also even though the scale says you haven't lost I BET your clothes fit differently. Sometimes taking your measurements can be a real boost when you're stalled. Hang in there kiddo, you're doing great.
