Halloween Party - Thank You All

WOW, what a wonderful evening.

My greatest fear was that no one would show but you came.  The weather was perfect for an outdoor event, more prayers answered.

For Liz and Loralea thanks for the confidence you gave me to move forward on the party.  During the 3 months of planning all I said was What if, I want, or I need and suddenly it was there.  For those of you who don't believe it, Liz was my sanity.  Liz thanks so much for the bounce house.  It was awesome and really made the evening special for a lot of kids and adults too!  Bryan did the table moving from house to house to house while he was sick and not feeling well.  Thank you so much.

Steph and Clay thanks for your vast assortment of lights and decorations.  OMG I know collecting over years makes for a lot but what you shared with us was more than I could ever have hoped for.  Rest assured we will care for them, restore them, and use them with love.  Wendy is getting special attention, just as soon as we figure out how to store her.

Chris and Kris, the music was the bomb.  Thanks for including some oldy music for me.  What you did made the party.  Your kids were awesome helpers when cleanup time came.  Even little Brook helped with clearing the tables and the wagon of wood.

For the rest of you WOW.  Bringing food, treats for the kids (Becky the dog treats were awesome.)   The effort put into the costumes made this celebration very special.  I love being with our OH Peeps more than you will ever know.  You proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that we do have more than 100 close friends.  I loved sharing your stories with my bro.  You are some of the best people in the world and are welcome here at anytime.

Very special thanks to my kids for helping Dad get things done and working so hard.  Chris and s'mores will forever be linked to some kids memories.  I am sorry Adam did not get to enjoy the party, he would have had a blast.

For my Tom, awesome job.  He worked very hard making the yard livable and safe, the house clean and almost pretty, and spent hours planning and working.  Doing this has made it so clear that he "can do" and will.

Thank you all, it was not my show, you pulled this off for me.  I know you drove a long way and I hope the gas was worth it for you.  The tips were above and beyond and should not have happened, but thank you.  My heart is full of love and very tired today.  This is one I will never forget, even when I am old and have Alzheimer's, I will remember the Halloween party of 2009, I hope you do too!

QUE-I'm just NOW getting on the computer-and it's after 7PM--that's how good a time we had--and SOBER, even!!! Sober people CAN have fun..lol...

I truly cannot find the words to express our gratitude and love. To have a place to go where we can totally be OURSELVES, and be totally ACCEPTED..well..there are just no words for that..or none I can find...at least none right now...cuz I'm crying...

Que,

I am so sorry I had to miss your party.  I so wanted to go.  My daughter was coming with me and she also got called into work.  My husband had everything confused on my birthday dinner that is the reason I didn't make it.  My dau was so looking forward to giving you a big hug.  She said I finally get to hug the nice lady.

I heard it was the party of the season.  You are one wonderful lady and such a good person inside and out.  Again I am so sorry I couldn't make it.
